13. Solution Overview

Aruba’s centralized architecture will deliver mobility, security and convergence for WAFI
MALL, leveraging a distributed deployment with centralized control. Aruba mobility
controllers are high-performance networking platforms built specifically to run centralized
ArubaOS functions such as controlled access point management, 802.11 station
management, 802.11x authentication and encryption, site-to-site and client VPNs using
IPsec/3DES encryption, L1-L7 intrusion protection, endpoint integrity checking, and
seamless user roaming between access points and across mobility controllers.

All mobility controllers share a common hardware architecture which includes a dedicated
control plane CPU, a high-performance programmable data plane network processor unit,
and a unique programmable encryption engine for centralized L2 and L3 encryption.
Aruba Mobility controllers can aggregate traffic from the distributed APs, inspect and
police it and deliver it to the core enterprise network. Mobility controllers are typically
positioned in data centers, for a controlled environment and access to the high-speed
core of the network.

Aruba 802.11n/ac-capable access points are Wi-Fi Alliance certified for 802.11a/b/g and
802.11n/ac ensuring interoperability with other 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WFA-certified products.

Fi. With a new central processor that employs up to eight cores with four threads each,
it’s like having a total of 32 virtual CPUs. As a result, the 7200 series supports up to 32,000
mobile devices– plenty of capacity and speed for BYOD and 802.11ac devices. New levels
of visibility are provided by Aruba’s unique AppRF technology, which runs on 7200 series
Mobility Controllers. With AppRF, IT can see applications by user, including top web-based
applications like Facebook and Box. The 7200 series also manages authentication,
encryption, VPN connections, IPv4 and IPv6 Layer 3 services, Aruba Adaptive Radio
Management™,. Clustering and centralized management enable the deployment of large
networks with hundreds of Mobility Controllers with minimal staff. A master Mobility
Controller can manage local Mobility Controllers, network management provides
enterprise-wide clarity and control through real-time monitoring, historical reporting and
troubleshooting.

ARUBA 7200 SERIES MOBILITY CONTROLLERS ARCHITECTED FOR HIGH AVAILABILITY The
7200 series includes a number of features that make it ideal for deployment in customer
locations that require maximum availability: • Redundant power supplies: The 7200
supports dual, field-replaceable redundant power supplies to maintain uninterrupted
network operations. • Hot-swappable fan tray with multiple fans: The 7200 includes a
field-replaceable fan tray with multiple fans, providing sufficient cooling and rapid time to
repair. • Solid state drives for maximum reliability and uptime. • The 7200 support two
dual-media ports: 1000BASE-X or 10/100/1000BASE-T connections for high availability.

Access Points
PROJECT : WAFI HOTEL COMPLEX AND
MALL(PHASE 8)
PLOT NUMBER 3156325DUBAI, UAE

The multifunctional and affordable AP-205H access point (AP) combines high-performance
wireless mobility with wired Gigabit Ethernet access in a surprisingly compact device. This
compact and cost-effective dual-radio AP easily mounts to a standard data wall-box and
uses the existing structured cabling system to provide secure wired and wireless network
access in dormitories, classrooms, hotels, medical clinics and multitenant environments.
In addition, using a unique mount kit accessory, the AP-205H can easily be converted to a
desk mounted AP to provide the same benefits for branch offices and teleworkers.
Capable of delivering high-performance Wi-Fi services to multiple rooms, the 205H
simplifies RF coverage planning and reduces WLAN deployment costs. The AP-205H is built
to provide years of trouble-free operation and is backed by Aruba’s limited lifetime
warranty. The 205H delivers wireless data rates of up to 867 Mbps to 5 -GHz devices with
802.11ac technology leveraging two spatial MIMO streams while simultaneously
supporting 2.4-GHz 802.11n clients with data rates of up to 400 Mbps.

Multifunctional and affordable Aruba 210 series wireless access points (APs) maximize
mobile device performance in medium-density, highperformance Wi-Fi environments.
These compact and cost-effective dual-radio APs deliver wireless data rates of up to 1.3
Gbps to 5-GHz devices with 802.11ac technology. They also support 3x3 MIMO with three
spatial streams as well as 2.4-GHz 802.11n clients at data rates up to 450 Mbps. The AP-
215 and IAP-215 models have six integrated omnidirectional downtilt antennas, while the
AP-214 and IAP-214 support external, detachable dual-band antennas using three RP-SMA
connectors. Unique benefits • Wi-Fi client optimization - The 210 series features
patented ClientMatch™ technology to eliminate sticky client behavior while users roam.
ClientMatch continuously gathers session performance metrics from mobile devices. - If a

mobile device moves away from an AP or if RF interference impedes performance,

ClientMatch automatically steers the device to a better AP. • Advanced Cellular
Coexistence (ACC) - ACC lets WLANs to perform at peak efficiency by minimizing
interference from 3G/4G LTE networks, distributed antenna systems and commercial
small cell/femtocell equipment. • Quality of service for unified communication apps - The
210 series supports priority handling and policy enforcement for unified communication
apps, including Microsoft Lync with encrypted videoconferencing, voice, chat and desktop
sharing
