Travel Insurance Policy
During the effectivity of this Policy, all covers, except Trip Cancellation and Travel
Postponement Benefits, shall commence at:
a) two (2) hours before the Insured’s scheduled departure time from the
Philippines to embark on a Trip; or
b) the time at which the Insured commences his travel from anywhere in the
Philippines and embark on a Trip; and shall cease on which of the following occurs
first:
b) the expiry of the Policy specified in the Policy Schedule or any subsequent
endorsement issued by the Company to amend the travel dates as requested
by the Insured;
c) in relation to Annual Multi-Trip, (i) forty-five (45) days after the Insured’s
departure from the Philippines to embark on a Trip (inclusive of the date of
departure); or (ii) two (2) hours after the Insured’s scheduled time of arrival; or
(iii) the expiry of this Policy specified in the Policy Schedule or any
subsequent endorsement issued by the Company to amend the travel dates
as requested by the Insured; or (iv) the Insured’s return to his place of
residence or employment.
For Trip Cancellation and Travel Postponement Benefits, both benefits take effect
upon acceptance and approval of the application or enrollment and receipt of premium
payment.
Limits of Coverage
The coverage limits are as specified in the policy schedule and are subject to the terms
and conditions outlined herein.
Description of Benefits:
Covers necessary medical expenses incurred during the trip, including hospitalization,
surgery, and medication.
Section 2: Emergency Medical Evacuation and Repatriation of Mortal Remains
Benefit
Provides coverage for emergency medical evacuation to the nearest suitable medical
facility and repatriation of mortal remains in case of death during the trip.
Offers a daily cash benefit for each day of hospitalization due to illness or injury during
the trip.
Reimburses the cost of travel expenses for a family member or close relative to visit the
insured person during hospitalization.
Provides coverage for accidental death or permanent disability resulting from covered
accidents during the trip.
Covers the cost of repatriation of the insured person's mortal remains to their home
country in case of accidental death during the trip.
Provides coverage for the cost of rescheduling the trip due to covered reasons,
including illness, injury, or death of the insured person or immediate family member.
Offers reimbursement for additional expenses incurred due to travel delays beyond a
specified period, including accommodation, meals, and transportation.
Covers legal liabilities arising from third-party bodily injury or property damage caused
by the insured person during the trip.
General Exclusions Applicable to All Sections:
The policy does not cover pre-existing medical conditions unless specifically stated.
Exclusions may apply to high-risk activities, illegal acts, or travel to countries or regions
with travel advisories issued by the policyholder's home country.
General Provisions:
The terms and conditions of the policy are subject to change at the discretion of the
insurance company.
The policyholder must report any incidents or claims to the insurance provider within a
specified time frame.
The policyholder must provide accurate information at the time of purchasing the policy
and filing a claim.
Premium payment obligations and cancellation terms are as specified in the policy
schedule.
