TEACHER’S REFLECTION
I delivered a lesson based on the topic journey (transportations). The students can understand the lesson well. The students’ learnt
about present perfect tense and different types of transportation used in different situations. By the end of the lesson, 18 students were
able identify the correct words listened and fill in the blanks correctly, which is 100% of the class. By the end of the lesson, 18
students were able to construct sentences about types of transportations used in different situations correctly, which is 100% of the
class.
I was very satisfied with the students’ participation throughout the lesson. All of the students were paying attention in class
and responded actively for every question posed to them. One strength that I noticed is that the time was managed well for the lesson
taught. The students were able to finish all of the tasks on time and didn’t have any problems following the instructions during the
lesson. Reflecting on my teaching, I should have complimented the students more and gave them positive reinforcement every time
they answered correctly or responded in class. Moreover, I should implement some HOTS questions inside the lesson as the tasks
seemed to be too easy for the students.
