Chapter 1 Brief introduction of DC200

1.2 Product features

1、Embedded with independently developed visual software by Decheng, it can achieve functions

such as exist, compare, front and back, measurement, color recognition, contour matching, character

recognition, etc;

2、Equipped with a 10.1-inch touch screen display;

3、The shell is made of aluminum alloy die-casting, with a fully sealed design and a protection

level of IP65;

4、Built in digital light source, can adjust brightness directly on the display screen;

5、Supports 2 digital inputs and 4 digital outputs with optocoupler isolation;

6、The camera interface adopts an industrial aviation plug, with good contact performance and

convenient insertion and removal;

Chapter 3 Functional configuration

To set or modify algorithm functions, you need to first Stop the software, then click on the
main interface menu Project Management to enter the Project menu Create project. If there is a
project, you can also directly click on Change Project to enter the project setting interface。

 Step 1-Camera setting:Set camera triggering conditions, image parameters, and light
source brightness

Trigger method: Select the trigger type according to the detection requirements。
Inner:The software triggers taking photos at fixed intervals。
Outer:Trigger photography through external signals. (Extended parameters can be selected
for delayed or real-time triggering)
Image parameters: adjusting camera parameters
Exposure time(1-10000ms):The higher the numerical value, the higher the brightness of the
image, the longer the dynamic response time, and the corresponding deterioration of the image
effect
Gain(1-4):Adjust the brightness. The higher the value, the higher the brightness and the
more noise
Contrast(1-100):The difference between the brightest and darkest parts of the image, the higher the
numerical value, the greater the difference, and the more vivid and prominent the imaging display will be
Sharp(1-100):The higher the numerical value, the higher the contrast of details, and the clearer the image,

but the corresponding imaging will be distorted


Color saturation(1-100):The purity of the color, the higher the value, the brighter it
becomes, and the lower the value, the darker it becomes
Gamma(1-4): The auxiliary function of brightness and contrast, which adjusts the brightness and contrast of
the image
Adjust focus:Adjust image clarity through+-
Brightness:Manually adjusting the brightness value of the light source

 Step 2 - Template:Set the benchmark image for the solution and correct the position of

the product

Template:Set the template image for the current project


Take template(real-time):Click on this menu to register the current real-time image as the
template image
Show real-time image:Click on the menu to switch to real-time images
Extended:
Base number(1-4):Set the number of base for the current project,
with a default of 1 base。
Multi-base logic:When using multiple benchmarks, is the logic for
selecting the output result a comprehensive judgment of multiple
benchmarks or a separate judgment of each benchmark
Report take template:Enter the historical report and select the
desired image registration as the base。
Trigger take template:Register base through signal triggered capture
method。

Trigger delay time:Trigger the photography delay time. (The first step is to select delayed
triggering for external triggering, and this menu will only be displayed)

 Pos-correction:Position correction of products through contour matching


Enabled or not:Confirm whether the current solution requires
position correction function. If necessary, manually turn it on and turn
it off by default
Edit-Area:Click to enter the submenu and edit the effective area
and search range for position correction
Adjust param:Click to enter the submenu and adjust the position
correction parameters。
Similarity:Adjust the contour similarity value for position
correction until it meets the set value and is judged as OK and effective
Angle range:Adjust the position to correct the search angle range
and only search within the set range
Sense:Adjust the strength parameter values of the extracted edge
contour feature points. Some feature points with high sensitivity and weak black and white edges
will also be calculated; Low sensitivity, requiring feature points with distinct black and white
edges for calculation
Ignore:It is possible to set the contour features of local images to be ineffective。
Algo:The higher the accuracy of selection, the more contour feature points are extracted,
and the slower the operation speed

 High-speed pos-correction:Correct the product in the X and Y directions by searching


for black and white features of the target

Enabled or not:Confirm whether the current solution requires high-speed position correction
function. If necessary, manually turn it on and turn it off by default
Edit-Area:Edit the effective detection area for high-speed position
correction
Adjust param:Click to enter the submenu and adjust the high-speed
position correction parameters
Base param:
Direction:Adjusting the direction of high-speed position
correction
2 axis(X+Y):X. Use high-speed position correction for both Y-axis
directions
1 axis(X):Only use high-speed position correction in the X-axis
direction
1 axis(Y):Only use high-speed position correction in the Y-axis direction
Edge extract:Select the required feature edges for correction, and switch edges through
-,+
Auto-extract:Software automatically extracts the most obvious edges
Show all:Show all edges that can be extracted
Test:Testing the effect of high-speed correction on real-time
images
Extended:
Sensitivity:Adjusting the Strength Parameter Values for
Extracting Edge Features
Auto adjust:The default software automatically adjusts the
appropriate sensitivity threshold through algorithms
Hand adjust:Manually adjust sensitivity threshold through -,+
Object color:The color of the selected feature target is
automatically selected by default. (White block, black block)
Filter area:Determine the minimum area of the extracted target.
If it is less than the set value, it will not take effect
Operation:Determine whether the extraction target is erode followed by dilate or dilate
followed by erode
Blob size:Determine the erode dilate level of the connected body operation, default to
none

 Step 3 - Tools:Add corresponding algorithm tools for testing based on product characteristics
and testing requirements
Click Add Tool to enter the menu. Basic tools include contour
matching, gray area, and color area (as shown in the right figure);
Then select the tool you want to add

1) Contour

Base param:
Edie area:Edit the effective area and search range for contour matching
Adjust param:Adjusting Algorithm Parameters for Contour Matching
Similarity:Adjust the similarity value for contour matching, and only determine OK if it is
greater than the set value
Sense:Adjust the strength parameter values of the extracted edge contour feature points. Some
feature points with high sensitivity and weak black and white edges will also be calculated;
Low sensitivity, requiring feature points with distinct black and white edges for
calculation

Extended:
Angle range(1-180):Adjust the angle range of contour matching search
to only search within the set range
Search algo:The higher the accuracy, the more extracted contour
feature points, and the slower the operation speed
Ignore:Local contour features can be set to not take effect
Change name:You can modify the name of the current contour tool

2) Gray Area

Base Param:
Edit-Area:Effective detection area for editing gray area
Gray extract:Determine the range of extracted grayscale values。
Hand-extract:Click Extract to enter the extraction menu for manual
extraction(As shown in the right figure)
Operation:Move the cross coordinate point on the image to the
desired location for extraction, and then click Confirm
to complete the grayscale extraction
Adjust range:Manually adjusting the range of high and low
thresholds
Restore:Revoke the previous extraction step
ClearAll:Revoke the previous extraction step
Auto-extract:Select automatic extraction of corresponding dark or
bright targets based on detection requirements
Adjust param:Algorithm parameters for adjusting the grayscale area of the tool
Similarity:Adjust the similarity value of the grayscale area until it is greater than the
set value to determine OK
Up-limit:After opening, you can set the similarity values for the upper and lower limits
Sense:Adjust the grayscale threshold range captured during detection; The lower the
sensitivity, the wider the range of grayscale thresholds captured during detection

Extended:
Ignore:It is possible to set the grayscale value extraction of local areas to be ineffective
Change name:Modify the name of the current gray area tool

3) Color Area

Base param:
Edit area:Edit the effective detection area of the color area. (Regional shapes are divided
into quadrilaterals and circles)
Color extract:Confirm the extraction color, click on Extract to enter the extraction menu
Operation:Move the cross coordinate point on the image to
the desired location for extraction, and then click
Confirm to complete the color extraction
Adjust range:Manually adjusting the range of HSV thresholds。
Restore:Revoke the previous extraction step。
ClearAll:Clear all extracted HSV values。
Adjust param:Adjusting the threshold parameters for tool color
area
Similarity:Adjust the area similarity value of the color to be
greater than the set value to determine OK
Up-limit:After opening, you can set the upper and lower similarity
values
Sense:Adjust the color threshold range captured during detection; The lower the sensitivity,
the wider the range of color thresholds captured during detection.

Extended:
Ignore:You can set the color value extraction of local areas to not take effect.
Change name:You can modify the name of the current color area tool.

4) Width

Base param:
Edit area:
Adjust position:Effective detection range for adjusting width measurement
Adjust angle:Adjust the angle of the width measurement detection area
Angle:
Horizontal reset:Reset the angle of the detection area to the horizontal direction.
Vertical reset:Reset the angle of the detection area to the vertical direction.
Edge extract:
Auto-extract:Automatically extract the most obvious edges as the two edges for width
measurement
Hand extract:Manually select the measurement edges for edges
1 and 2. (Click -+to adjust)
Show all:Display all selectable measurement edges
Similarity:Adjust the similarity value of the width measurement
results until it is between the set values to determine OK.
Up-limit:After opening, you can set the upper and lower similarity
values. (The maximum upper limit value can be set to 999%)

Extended:
Adjust sensitivity:Manually adjust the threshold sensitivity for
obtaining edges.
Precision:Adjust the precision unit of similarity. (Default accuracy is 1%)
Searching method:Confirm the way to search for width edges. (Automatic selection, target size,
target distance, default automatic selection)

Ignore:It is possible to set the edge extraction of local areas to be ineffective.


Change name:You can modify the name of the current width tool.

5) Counting

Base param:
Edit Area:Edit the effective detection area for spot counting. (Quadrilateral, circular)
Object extract:Determine the threshold range for extracting spots.
Box-object:After box selection, each effective spot is displayed independently with a
region.
(when object color choose gray in extended)
Dark:Comprehensive detection of grayscale values within the region, automatically
extracting spots close to black.
Bright:Comprehensive detection of grayscale values within the region, automatically
extracting spots close to white.
Adjust:Manually adjust the threshold range for extracting spots.
(when object color choose color in extended)
Extract:Enter the extraction interface and manually extract the required color spots.
Operation:Move the cross coordinate point on the image to the desired location for
extraction, and then click Confirm to complete the color extraction.
Adjust range:Manually adjusting the range of HSV thresholds
Restore:Revoke the previous extraction step.
Clearall:Clear all extracted HSV values.
Adjust param:Adjust the algorithm parameters for tool spot counting.
Number thre:Adjust the Number threshold of Counting, and if it is within the threshold

range, it is judged as OK
Refer thre:Automatically select the corresponding threshold for the number of spots
counting based on the current template.
Max-limit:The threshold range for the number of spots counting with upper and lower limits
can be set.
Position strict:Set whether the spot overflow detection area is valid outside. (Calculate
all spots, only calculate middle spots)
Size strict:Set the condition parameters for effective spot detection. (Spot area range,
spot width range, spot height range)

Extended:
Ignore:It is possible to set the local area's Counting extraction to be ineffective.
Object color:When using the counting tool to extract spots, use grays or color information
to extract the target (only color intelligent cameras can extract colors)
Operation:Erode and dilate of the binary image of the connection.
Erode then dilate:Also known as open operation, it is usually
used to eliminate small noise points or small objects, and to
eliminate the fine points of object boundary adhesion to
achieve the separation of object boundaries, which can keep
the size of the object area basically unchanged.
Dilate then erode : Also known as closed operation, it is
usually used to fill small voids within the target, connect
adjacent targets that are disconnected, and maintain the basic
size of the object area.

Erode level:The higher the level, the more small particles and noise are removed around the
target area, and the more the boundary of the target object contracts inward.
Dilate level:The higher the level, the more small voids in the target area will be filled,
and the more the target boundary will expand outward.
Change name:Change the function name of counting tool

6) Feature exist

Base param:
Edit area:Edit the effective detection area for the presence or absence of features. (Regional
shapes are divided into quadrilaterals and circles)
Feature extract:Determine the extracted feature parameters
and click on feature extraction to enter the extraction menu.
Base ignore extract feature:On the template image, adjust
the parameters to view the extracted features.
Realtime extract feature:Adjust parameters to view the
extracted features on real-time images.
Feature type:Select the type of extraction (black block,
white block, edge).
Sense:Adjust the threshold for obtaining feature points
to determine whether the obtained features are the required
features. By adjusting the parameters, some features that are
not bright or dark can be extracted.
Erode level:The higher the level, the more small particles and noise are removed around
the target area, and the more the boundary of the target object contracts inward.
Alarm logic:Determine the scope and direction of the alarm, which can be opened separately
or simultaneously.

Extended:
Ignore:It is possible to set the feature extraction of local areas to be ineffective.
Change name:Modify the function name of Feature exist tool

7) Compare

Base param:
Edit area:Edit the effective detection area for gray Compare. (Regional shapes are divided
into quadrilaterals and circles)
Compare param:
Sense:The pixel grayscale values of the current detection image and the template image
are compared to the standard. The smaller the value, the higher the accuracy, while
the larger the value, the lower the accuracy.
Template learning:On the template image, multiple template images can be added; When
performing grayscale contrast detection, as long as one image in the template
library is matched, it is considered OK.
Alarm logic:When the difference in grayscale comparison is greater than the set threshold,
it is judged as NG.
Thre:Compare with the reference template during detection and calculate the area of
abnormal pixels; The numerical value is related to the sensitivity value. The higher
the sensitivity value, the fewer abnormal pixels will be judged during detection.

Extended:
Ignore:The grayscale compare tool for local areas can be set to not be effective.
Erode level:The higher the level, the more small particles and noise are removed around the
target area, and the more the boundary of the target object contracts inward.
Compare method:(The higher the accuracy, the slower the speed)The higher the accuracy, the more
pixels obtained, and the slower the corresponding detection speed
Change name:You can change the function name of Compare tool

Template learning operation process:

When using grayscale Compare tools, when an alarm occurs during detection and adjusting
the threshold cannot effectively eliminate false alarms, template learning can be used to
add multiple template images to achieve the detection effect.
Firstly, enter the template learning page

In the processing image library, we select images where the product is good but misjudged,
and add them to the template image library. In the next detection, if the current situation
occurs again, it will not be judged as NG.
Note: The added image must be confirmed as OK. Adding an incorrect template may result
in defective products not being detected.

8) Pinch

Base param:
Edit area:
Adjust position:Adjust the effective detection range of pitch.
Adjust angle:Adjust the angle of the pitch detection area.
Angle:
Horizontal reset:Reset the angle of the detection area to the horizontal direction.
Vertical reset:Reset the angle of the detection area to the vertical direction.
Object extract:
Extract object:Adjust the relevant algorithm parameters for extracting targets.
Object type:Set whether the pin color is a dark target or a bright target.
Messure mode:The detection mode selection is pin pitch or pin width.
Similarity:Adjust the similarity range value of the pitch until it is between the set values
to determine OK
Max limit:Set the maximum upper limit value for familiarity. (The maximum upper limit value
can be set to 999%)

 Step 4 - Output:Set IO signal and output configuration.

 Single base output configuration:Configure the IO output definition for the current base, (OK,
NG).

OK signal:Configure the IO port output after confirming that it is OK.


NG signal:Configure the IO port output after confirming that it is NG.
OK logic:The condition under which the current base ultimately determines the OK result when
using multiple tools. (All tools OK, any tool OK)
Change project name:Change name of current project

 Mulit-base output configuration:Configure the IO output definition for each base, (OK, NG).

Comprehensive judgement logic


OK logic:When multiple base are used, the final result determines the logical condition
for OK. (Any base OK, all bases OK)
base1 OK output:Configure the IO port output after the judgment base 1 is OK.
Base2 OK output:Configure the IO port output after the judgment base 2 is OK.
base1 OK rename:You can modify the OK name of the current base 1.
base2 OK rename:You can modify the OK name of the current base 2.
NG signal:Configure the IO port output of NG after comprehensive judgment.
Change project name:change name of current project

Extended:
OK logic:When using multiple tools, each base determines the condition for the final OK
result. (All tools OK, any tool OK)

Chatper 4 Common function menu


4.1 Run View
1) Report
 The detection results can be saved as images, and detailed information can be viewed for each
image in the report.

2) Log
 The operation records of the software can be traced (as shown in the figure below).

3) Clear:Clear the current count of OK/NG to zero.

4.2 System
1) Machine setting

 Upgrade:Version upgrade can be done remotely or on a USB drive.


 Touchscreen calibration:When the touch position is inaccurate, screen correction can be
performed again.
 Touchscreen test:Manually test for any deviation in the touch position.
 OK report:save the OK image or not
 NG report:save the NG image or not
 IO output keeptime(0-30000)ms:The holding time of the OK/NG output signal after the detection
is completed.

 Upgrade operation process:First, you need to connect the external network successfully. Click
"Network" to enter the sub interface. Find the connectable network in the wifi list, enter
the password and click "Connect". After the network connection is successful, the "Net Status"
in the upper right corner will display a green light(Due to on-site environmental issues,
we usually turn on our phone hotspots and connect to our own phone hotspots to connect to
the network)。Then return to the upgrade interface, click "Send ID", and then contact the
manufacturer's technical department to upload the corresponding version. After confirming the
completion of the upload, click "Download". After completion, click the menu "Upgrade" and
confirm to complete the upgrade.

2) IO Setting

3) Advanced

 Run mode:Selecting standards results in higher detection accuracy and slower computational
speed; Selecting acceleration will increase the computational speed during detection.
 Detection mode:After opening, the detection report will not be stored, but the calculation
speed will increase.
 Flash/Constant:Is the light source flashing with the camera or constantly on.
 Restore factory setting:Clear all parameters and settings and restore them to the factory
settings.

 IO input filter time(1-20)ms:The interval time between two input signals cannot be less than the set
time, otherwise it will be considered as an invalid signal.
 Output the same signal:Repeated photo detection, whether the previous output signal remains
valid.

Chapter 6 Operating safety precautions

1. Safety precautions
1) The variation range of power supply voltage is within 10%
2) Please make sure to connect the ground wire
3) Do not place near the welding machine
4) Do not place near strong magnetic fields or devices that can generate strong magnetic fields
5) Surrounding temperature within the range of -10 ℃ to 50 ℃
6) Please clean the through-hole of the body once a month
7) In case of any abnormal situation, for safety reasons, please manually set the device to a
stopped state and handle the abnormality before proceeding with the operation

2. Warranty regulations
This product has been strictly inspected and qualified by our company
If a customer malfunctions during normal use, they will be dealt with according to after-sales service regulations.

1) Warranty period
The warranty period is within 12 months after installation is completed
2) Items beyond warranty
The following situations outside the warranty period are paid repairs
a. In case of malfunction or damage caused by improper use such as falling or hitting during transportation or
movement by customers.
b. In case of faults or damages caused by natural disasters such as fires, earthquakes, floods, and abnormal
voltage.
c. Connect machines other than those designated by our company to the product in the event of a malfunction
d. In the event of malfunction due to operating methods other than those specified in the operating manual or
our company's instructions
e. In case of malfunction due to use under special conditions and environments
f. In case of failure due to incomplete engineering equipment or insufficient maintenance management
3) Operating obligations of this device
This machine is recorded in the operating manual. Please follow the operating methods to operate. In order to
be able to use it permanently, please be sure to follow the specified items
4) Post warranty processing costs
The costs for faults that occur after the warranty period and repairs outside of the warranty project will be
charged based on material costs, repair costs, travel expenses, etc
