METHOD STATEMENTS
20) Put the bolt through the bracket to the aluminium subframe.
21) Check and do the final alignment.
22) Repeat the procedure from 8 to 14 as above and fix the window
main frame with the EPDM gaskets.
23) Size and cut the beading and keep ready to fix the glass.
24) Bring the glass panel o the location.
25) Put the EPDM pads/packers/spacers in the window main frame at
the bottom and on the vertical frames at the base.
26) Lift the glass with the help of the suction cups and place over the
pads placed in the window main frame.
27) Align the glass and make it rest over the EPDM compression
gasket in the window mainframe extruded slot.
28) Place the snap on beadings.
29) Press and fix the snap on EPDM beading.
30) Check to ensure the glass fixed tightly in the frame.
31) Establish panel sizes on the wall as per the architectural drawings
32) Approval of the marking done by the architects
33) Paint all the steel members prior to erection with one coat of red
oxide paint.
34) Mark the base plates on the RCC member.
35) Remove the plaster from the marked area.
36) Drill the holes in the RCC member to fix the base plates.
37) Weld and erect the steel members on the base plate.

38) Erect the ISMC-100 (as designed) verticals spanning over RCC
floor beams/slabs as per the design.
39) Erect the ISA 50 horizontals (as designed). These angles shall be
fixed on the ISMC-100 (as designed) verticals.
40) All the members will be tack welded first. They shall be fully
welded once the line and plumb has been checked and approved by the
PMC.
41) The remaining painting coats will be applied after the full welding
of the members is done.
42) The angles shall be predrilled with the hole to anchor the GRC
panel.
1) The GRC slab shall be cut as per the required panel size as marked on the
wall excluding the expansion joint / groove.
2) Holes shall be drilled in the GRC panel on the edge at predefined /
required location.
3) The panel then shall be moved in the location, the hole of the ISA-50 (to
be designed) and the GRC panel shall be matched.
4) Once the hole is matched the S S pin along with the shock-absorbing
sleeve shall be inserted through ISA-50 into the GRC panel.
5) Above shall be repeated to install other panels.
6) Once the panels are fixed in the adequate area, the groove shall be filled
with the open cell polyethylene backer rods.
7) Low tack masking tape shall be stuck to the GRC panel on both side of
the groove, so as to not stain the GRC with the spill over of the silicon
sealant.
M S ENGINEERS I LTD PROJECT: MEDICITY, Gurgaon, Delhi
8) The sealant (DOW 991 or equivalent) shall be filled over the backer rod
in the expansion joints.
9) The work shall be joint inspected, checked, and handed over.
1) Mark vertical panel grid lines on the wall as per the architectural
drawings.
2) Approval of the marking done by the architects.
3) Fabricate the steel brackets as per the design.
4) Paint/G I coating on all the steel members prior to erection with one coat
of red oxide paint.
5) Mark the brackets on the RCC member.
6) Remove the plaster from the marked area if any.
7) Drill the holes in the RCC member to fix the brackets with the Anchor
fasteners.
8) Fix and align the brackets
9) Mount the lifting device on the upper floor.
10) Bring the pre-fabricated pre-glazed panel to the lifting location.
11) Hook the panel to the lifting device.
12) Use guide wires to avoid the rotation of the panel while being
lifted.
13) Lift the unitized panel and position between and within the
brackets.
14) Align the verticality and insert the bolt through the aluminium
mullion profile into the G I bracket.
15) Tighten the bolt and check the plumb of both the faces.

8) Fill the structural silicon sealant (Dow 995) in the groove created due to
the Norton tape between glass and the aluminium frame.
9) Allow the sealant to cure for 7 days (or number of days as per the bite
size) and move the panels for erection.
10) Stick label to the glazed panel with the panel id number and the
date of glazing.
11) Stack the panel on a leveled platform so that there is no twist and
bend in the units after / before curing of the sealant.
12) Stack the panel in a manner that the first lot is put closer to the exit
than the former lots in sequence.
13) Stack the glazing
