1- ITP and checklist can be modified when required as per site condition. 2- ITP inspection responsibility assignments
can be modified when required as per site condition. 3- Fire alarm system and procedures shall be as per project
specification, manufacturer recommendation, and last updated Saudi BUILDING code & Civil defense guide line. 4-
Delivered Fire alarm system and all its components will be properly packaged and adequately protected from
damage/deterioration during shipment, transportation, handling and storage. 5- Pre-testing: After installation,
align, adjust, and balance the system and perform complete pre-testing. Determine, through pre-testing, the
compliance of the system with requirements of the Drawings and Specification. Correct deficiencies observed in
pre-testing. Replace malfunctioning or damaged items with new ones,and retest until satisfactory performance and
conditions are achieved. Prepare forms for systematic recording of acceptance test results. 6- Report of Pre-testing:
After pre-testing is complete, provide a letter certifying the installation is complete and fully operable, including the
names and titles of witnesses to preliminary tests. 7- Final Test Notice: Provide a minimum of 10 days' notice in
writing when the system is ready for final acceptance testing. 8- Minimum System Tests: Test the system according
to procedures outlined in NFPA 72. 9- Strict compliance with project specification and all other project contractual
documentations. 10- Fire alarm system shall comply with the latest editions of the requirements of applicable local
codes, and the following standards (EIA & TIA & IEEE & ISO & ANSI & IEC & EN-50174, NFPA). 11- Safety
measurements and precautions shall be covered.
