This survey contains 28 examples of things one can do, think or feel in response to a difficult life event.

Obviously,
different types of difficult things or events bring out somewhat different responses, but how do you typically cope when
you are confronted with a difficult life event?
Please indicate what do you generally do, think or feel when confronted with a difficult event in life:

1 = I don't do this; 2 = I do this sometimes; 3 = I do this often; 4 = I do this all the time
1 I turn to work or other activities to take my mind off things.
2 I concentrate my efforts on doing something about it.
