FUSION Fusion is a learning method or learning approach that gives complement to the fused learning. In this method, teachers fuse skills, knowledge, or even attitudes into regular school curriculum. In some areas or students learn to respect for the environment in every subject area or some incorporate values across disciplines. It also gives students to learn in their own unique thinking, where students can develop their own critical thinking, problem-solving and attitudes, while also utilizing the technology and online resources for the students to enhance their learning experiences. ADVANTAGES Fusion classrooms are one of the most time effective methodologies and is easy to implement within blended learning applications. Excluding enhancing learners’ participation in class, they can carry out as a track record of learners’ instruction, assisting, and summative evaluation. DISADVANTAGES Fusion may be a disadvantage for students who have insufficient prior learning to benefit from a fused lesson, which may result in them struggling to complete an objective. Fusion is that one tool to used fused learning and it can may be too distracting for the students. For example, a social studies teacher used ana APA/MLA interactive game online games where all students are able to use their gadgets. Yet, the students spent so much time with the game that they forgot the purpose of the lesson, so it had to be retaught.
FUSION LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
Students are able to take advantage of both the physical and virtual worlds to create a learning experience that is tailored to their needs, this type of learning can make use of a variety of tools, including online courses, digital contents and syllabus.
IMPLEMENTATION OUTCOME OF FUSION
As a result, fusion brings positive gains in student’s achievement resulting from integrated instruction in the classroom. (Bolack, et al,.2005; Romance & Vitale, 1992; Campbell & Henning 2010). In addition, students make connections among disciplines, values, concepts, content, and life experiences. Students increased critical thinking skills, self-confidence, positive attitudes, and love for learning manifest their effectiveness. Shriner, et al. (2010) also found that motivated teachers and students allow a classroom to be a positive, fun, and engaging environment in which we learn. The outcome of fusion is very significant. It provides good and valuable result to the students. As the teacher fuse the skills, knowledge and attitudes towards a normal school curriculum, it brings an important and helpful outcome. The students’ performance is being enhanced by fusion as one of the methods of integrated curriculum. Learners boost connections in different fields including the good manners and positive attitudes, as well as improved their willingness to learn. Their metacognition skills, and self- confidence are being sharpen. In conclusion, if both teachers and students are innovated and motivated, possible the learning environment will become full of positivity, enjoyment, and collaborative. In return, educators and learners will have fruitful outcome in the environment they belong.
