Infinitive: to go (walk)
Gerund: going, walking– after prepositions. Ex: (I carry on doing my

Involve, don´t mind, keep, avoid
Make/let/help (somebody) do (something)

Verbs of perception: hear, see, feel, notice, watch
(somebody/something) do (something).

Verbs express hopes, intentions and decisions are often followed by
infinitives: need, offer, choose, fail, afford, seem, decide, hope, plan,
prepare, want… to do (something)
Ex: I plan to have a nice Christmas dinner with my family.
8. Read the article again and write down more examples of the
patterns from the grammar box. Find:
