PLR Website and Amazon Store Install & Setup Guide

This document will help you install your new PLR website or
Amazon Store. We've made it as easy as we possibly can.

We are assuming you already have hosting and a domain. And you
domain is tied to your hosting account. Ask you hosting if you
need assistance. Also, you NOT need to install Wordpress, all that
comes with the package.

This site needs to be installed on a empty domain or sub


directory. Also, they cannot be added into an existing site.

The steps covered are:

1. Create a database and user

2. Upload the Installation Files

3. Run the installation script

Easy huh?

On with the show…

Install Steps:

1. Create a Database - This stores your sites information. Login to


your hosting cpanel and go to MySQL Databases.

 Create New Database - Save the database name.

 Create a Database User and Password for the user. Save the
information. Under "Add new user".

 Link the user to the database - Scroll down the MySQL


databases page, until you see "Add user to database. Choose
the user you created, choose the Database you created.
Click Add, and click all permissions.

2. Upload The Files - Upload the two files in the Upload folder of
the product package you downloaded after purchase, to your
hosting space. There will be two files, one inmportbuddy.php and
a back up zip file. For most hosting services they need to be
uploaded IN the public_html folder. Hosting may vary, but this is
the most common. If you are not sure where to upload, ask your
hosting service.

3. Run The Install Script - In your web browser, go to


http://www.yourdomain.com/importbuddy.php replacing
yourdomain.com with your own domain. Fill in the deails.

More Detailed Instructions:

1. Create The Database

Login to your hosting cpanel. And click on the MySQL databases.

Create a new database. You can name it what every you want.
Save the database name, you'll need it later.

Next on the same page, create a new database user. I usually


name it the same as the database in the previous step. Save the
user name and user password. You'll need it later.

Then you need to add that user, or give the user you created,
access to the database you created.

Choose the user name and database name and click Add. Then
click "All privileges". That's it for the database work.

2. Upload the website files. While still in your hosting cpanel, go


to the home page and click the file manager icon:

When the file manager comes up, on the left side, click on the
public_html folder. This will open the contents of that folder on
the right.

Click the Upload link at the top of the page.

In the PLR Website or Amazon Store Website package you


download after purchase, there are is a "Upload" folder in that
package. I am assuming you unzipped it because you are reading
this.

After clicking the Upload link in your cpanel file manager, click
browse and locate the two files in the plr website upload folder.
One is importbuddy.php and the other is a backup zip file.

Upload those two files.

All done with the files.

Only one step left....

3. Run The Import Script

Open your internet browser and type in:

http://www.yourdomain.com/importbuddy.php

Replace "youdomain.com" with your own domain.

Hit enter. Give it some time. Wait until it finishes.

Enter the importbuddy password of:

theplrstore.com

Click the Restore Backup button.

On the Database settings page, Where it says, database server,


click the little arrow in the middle, this should copy the local
server over to the right side.

Under Database name, on the right, enter the database name you
created in step 1. Then the database user and user password you
also created in step 1.

At the Database Prefix line, click the little arrow in the middle
there to copy that wp_ over to the right.

Click the Next Step Button. This will bring up the Site URL Settings
page. On the right, type in your domain name. I prefer to use the
www.

Click the Next Step button.


On Next Step, click the link to your website to make sure it is
working properly.

If even thing is working correctly, Click the Finish Cleanup button.


It's a good idea to clean up and delete all unnecessary files. You
don't want anything around that hackers might get into.

Ta Dum! You are done.
