The refrigerant may sometimes leak from the refrigeration circuit.
So check the circuit for leaking with a gas leak detector.
Handling method of the gas detector is described in the operation manual attached to the
detector, but the following are the outline of handling method.

O~nf'i rff,X i¥J -z:' iVJ 0 :m~tJ~ iVJ 1J , ;t t;::!J&Jt)( ~ n --c iJ:. G~iS C7)~1ti1~ jijJ::. 0 ;t -z:' f'ibfiJ:.tt iJ~

Take a sufficient time for checking, because gas sometimes leaks intermittently and it
takes a little time to change the frame color after sucking the leaking refrigerant.
Carefully handle the gas-leak detector not to get burnt, because fire is used in it.

refrigerants into the atmosphere during maintenance, overhauling or repair work.

The expansion valve has been adjusted at the factory, so avoid adjusting it unnecessarily.
However, if necessary, adjust it correctly, referring to the pressure gauge. Confirm the
starting point before adjustment.
Counterclockwise rotation of the adjusting screw increases refrigerant flow. Note that trouble
with expansion valve is in most cases due to wrong installation of the feeler tube rather than
expansion valve.

Caution for Refrigerant Gas Handling

(1) Regulation
Refrigerant such as R404A and R-22 should be handled in accordance with
"Regulation of High pressure Gas". Refer to "Regulation of High pressure Gas"
that contains some standards so as to avoid accident.

(2) Handling gas vessel

The refrigerant is contained in a high-pressure gas vessel that is designed and
manufactured suitable for its purpose. Take care for handling so as not to have
damage on a vessel.

(3) Storage
The refrigerant is not inflammable gas, but a vessel should be stored in well
ventilated and shade place same as other high-pressure gas.

Otherwise the refrigerant gas may be released to atmosphere through a safety

device because the pressure increases according to environment temperature.

(4) Ventilation
There is a tendency that the refrigerant gas gathers on the floor because it is
heavier than air. Oxygen deficiency may occur inside a room where is filled
with the refrigerant. A fire may cause a pungent smell and corrosive gas if you
make a fire inside the room where is filled with the refrigerant.

(5) Hygiene
Pay attention not to touch directly to skin, eye and mouth.

FIRST AID
-In case of eye
Wash your face with water more than 15 minutes and avoid eye rubbed.
- In case of skin
When the refrigerant is released to atmosphere, its evaporation causes
temperature drop instantaneously. Therefore if skin touches directly the
refrigerant in liquid phase, skin may be frostbitten . If frostbitten is serious,
consult a specialist promptly.
