January 5 (Friday)
The principal (Dr. Chris) called us meeting on Jan 5th to setting down the
accommodation and request us to submit the necessary documents for making health insurance
for us since they were accepting us as part of KKIPS family member. Then, we continued
discuss about the course requirement from our university and the school curriculum from
KKIPS. After printing out the documentation, we also need to meet the principal’s wife (Mrs.
Joy) individually for having short interview. After the interview, she asked us to pick up the
parcel which the water bottle inside in it. Then, she asked to come officially on Jan 8th.
JANUARY JOURNAL
Week 1
January 8 (Monday)
This the first day of our internship in KKIPS. During the first of second or third weeks,
we need to do observation from different class (Nursery and kindergarten 1-3) and we need to
do rotation with other friends. I was observing the student coming in and do check in started
on 8 am-9 am. Since it was Monday, all the classes combined to have morning meeting and we
introduced ourselves there with the students. On my first week, I was observing nursery class
and the students in that class were so cute. Students learning English (jolly phonic) with
homeroom teacher for 15-20 minutes. Then, doing experiment about hot, cold, and warm about
20 minutes. After that students get rest, use restroom and drink water till 10 am. At 10 am, they
off to the garden for play and also other classes students. They were playing there about 20
minutes in the garden, then back to their classroom for cleaning up themselves and drink water
again. At 11, they were taking their lunch with the homeroom teacher. When they were eating
lunch, nanny and I have to prepared for their bed. After they eat lunch, they went to sleep till 2
pm. Compared to other classes, nursery’s nanny and I need to eat lunch when they were in
sleep. Then, I observed half of the class as we were having the other homeroom teacher’s
presentation which started from 1pm to 4 pm and presented about the school Philosophy, Life
Skills, Classroom Structure, Lesson Planning, Teaching Material and Resources, Behavior
Management, and Documentation that needed to complete on individual students. After that
we were dismissed.
January 9 (Tuesday)
Based on what we observed yesterday, today we know what time we need to be school
by 7:45 am. Then, we helped teacher welcoming students in the entrance. Some students were
crying when they off the car. Since the teacher knew about the students well, they just
encourage students to make check in and let students go by themselves to take off their shoes
and go to their classroom. When it is 9 am, all the class has started. As soon as nursery students
arrived at the class, they take out their water bottle and milk and put it in the two bucket that
place on the table. Then, the class continue as usual such as having English learning in the
morning with activity depend on the teacher lesson plan. Then, they take off their sock and play
indoor and when homeroom teacher said, “tidy up” they all need to keep back all the material
in its place. Then, they take a rest, and drink water together. Then, they need to go to the garden
to play together with other students. After they back, they need to clean their hands, if they
uniform get dirt, they have to change, when everyone is done, they take lunch together. After
lunch, they went to sleep until 2 pm. When they wake up, they need to put on their socks by
themselves and they drink their milk and have fruit. After that they are waiting for their parents
to pick up them. While they are waiting, they can read or have a look at story book. After the
class, the homeroom teacher, nanny, and I need to clean the classroom. According to their
homeroom, this were the routine that they did every day unless there was special event happen.
January 10 (Wednesday)
As we were quick learners, we know what to do with welcoming students in the
entrance. Then, go into the class when it is time to start the class. As I mention above, the daily
activities were rotated as usual. When students were sleeping, me and my friends were assigned
to cut off the jolly phonic paper to make a flash card. When it is 5 pm, we all dismissed.
January 11 (Thursday)
As usual, me and my friends, we help teacher welcoming students in the entrance. The
class started at 9:00 am so I need to look after the nursery students as nanny absent today. It
was a bit busy day and tiring day for me. The class go as usual such as students have class in
morning part for 15-20 minutes. Then, they were allowed to play indoor. After that, they take
a rest and drink water together on the bench. Then, be ready to play in the garden. After playing
there, they back for cleaning up, and ready for the lunch. After lunch, they brush their teeth and
went to sleep. Today, the school have one activity for the whole school which is practicing fire
alarm. The alarm ring around 2 pm which is around the students taking their milk and fruits, so
I need to carry the youngest students and the slow students. I was frustrated as the homeroom
teacher was busy with something else and the other teacher help the nursery with going outside
on that time. It took time like 5 minutes and we all back to our own class after that. Then, the
students were ready waiting for their parents to pick them up. We all dismissed after done with
cleaning the classroom and approximately at 4:30 pm.
January 12 (Friday)
Today the KKIPS doing painting bag event for the students for coming children’s day
in Thailand on Saturday. All the students required to wear national consume on Friday. As soon
as students arrive to their classroom, they need to do as usual such as taking out water bottle,
and milk and take off sock when it’s time to play. nursery class need to take times started from
9:00 am -9:30 am. After that they back to their class they take a rest, drink water together on
the bench. Then, they play in the garden, back to change clothes, and ate lunch. After that they
went to sleep and wake up at 2 pm. When they wake up, they need to have a milk and fruit and
they can play or have a look at story book while they were waiting for their parents.
Week 2
January 15 (Monday)
Since we need to rotate observing the class, I observed kindergarten 3 for this week. As
the class started, the teacher communicating with students about what are they going to cover
today. After that they went down as a line for having morning meeting in the nursery hall. Then,
they back to their class and learning about story project. After that they take off their socks and
went down to lunch area to put all their water bottle together in the basket and step in the garden
to play. Once they done with playing, they need to drink water together for few minutes and
walk back to their class in line. Then, they are going to have health class which is teacher lead
them doing yoga activities. Then, continue with math class and after that they were given time
to play in door within their classroom before going out for lunch. When its lunch times, they
all walk down to the lunch area in a line and homeroom teacher and I we eat together among
them. Once they done with lunch, they continue with English class with is basically teach Jolly
Phonic by using audio sound and students sing along with the action doing. After that, students
having life skills which is swimming class. Once they done with swimming, they need to
change their clothes and readily walking down to lunch area to have fruit while waiting for
their parents to pick them up. Since there is no assistance teacher in K-3, when teacher is
sending of the students, I cleaned the room. After that, all the teachers having meeting about
upcoming activities. After that we all dismissed.
January 18 (Thursday)
As usual I help with welcoming students until 9:00 am and back to my K-3 class. The
teacher and students set communication time about how do they feel today. Then, talk about
what activities and classes they are going to cover for today. After that students were having
Thai class, health class (yoga), play in the garden, having an art class. Then, students and
teacher taking lunch together as teacher needs to observe whether students can eat well or not.
After lunch, students were having math class, and follow by English class (jolly phonics). Since
the teacher is not ready with doing project, she let students play in the garden. After that,
students need to clean up the classroom and readily waiting for their parents pick up at dinning
area. Once students go back, I clean up the classroom and dismissed the school at 4:30 pm.
January 19 (Friday)
As per my routine, I assist in welcoming students until 9:00 am, after which I return to
my K-3 class. During our communication time, the teacher and students discuss their feelings
for the day and go over the planned activities and classes. The day typically includes Thai class,
a health class involving yoga, outdoor play in the garden, and an art class. Lunch is a communal
affair, allowing the teacher to observe the students' eating habits. Post-lunch, there are math
and English classes (jolly phonics), and if the teacher is not ready with a project, students are
given time to play in the garden. Subsequently, students participate in cleaning up the
classroom and await their parents' pick-up at the dining area.
Week 3
January 22 (Monday)
As one week has completed, I need to observe another class which is kindengarden-1.
The homeroom was not feeling well so the other teacher needs to work in K-1. As I arrive at
school, I go to K-1 class for preparing or settle up all the things that need to be used as usual
week. The students having class at 9 am sharp and learning about reptile and need to stick color
on the snail two person at a time with the teacher. After that, they have PE class during other
students having garden playing time. Once they done with their PE class, they came back to
their classroom and having break. After that, they need to prepare their bed before going to
have lunch. Students and teacher having lunch together. Once students done eating lunch, they
need to brush their teeth and go to sleep till 2 pm. As they wake up, they need to pack up their
bed and prepared their bags (Keep all the items such as water bottle, or jacket inside their bags).
Then, put on their shoes and waiting for parents pick up at dinning area. Once students
dismissed, I clean up the classroom with one assistant teacher. I dismissed at 4:30 pm.
January 23 (Tuesday)
As I learned from Monday, for the next day, I prepared the classroom as soon as I arrived
in the class. Since there is no nanny in the class, I have to wait and look after students as they
arrive in the class. As students arrive in the class, they need to keep their bottle in the basket,
take off their shocks, and keep their bags to its place. As the school start, the homeroom teacher
taught students Phonic, sticking straw on the paper for making a pig house for project, break
for drinking water, PE, and students playing in the garden. Once students back to the class, they
clean up, prepared their bed, then go take lunch, back to the restroom for brush their teeth and
go to sleep, and wake up at 2 pm. Once they wake up, homeroom teacher and I need to fold up
their bed and students will put on their socks, keep back the water bottle in their bag. After that,
will walk down to cafeteria area to drink their milk and eat fruits while waiting for their parents
pick them up. Once they go back home, homeroom teacher and I have to clean up the classroom
and dismiss at 5pm.
January 24 (Wednesday)
As the class start, the teacher reminds them about the three little pig’s story. After that,
they went down to the garden to pint the pig mask and the house with color. Once they done,
they get to play in the garden. After that as their daily routine, they need to clean up, and
prepared for their bed, take lunch together with teachers, and brush their teeth and taking a nap.
As they wake up, they need to get a book to read. After that, they help cleaning up the class.
Then, go down to the lunch area to drink a milk and eat fruits.
January 25 (Thursday)
As students come to the class, I will be the one who playing with the students while
homeroom teacher prepares for the project or teaching materials. Then, as the class start,
teacher will remind the students about the story of three little pigs. After that, they were having
activities from the house and pigs’ masks that they painted yesterday in the garden. Students
were excited and happily enjoy the activities. After that they go back to their classroom and to
drink water together. Then, back for the playing in the garden time. After that, students were
preparing their bed, then go down for the lunch. Once they done with their lunch, they brush
their teeth and take a nap till 2 pm. After they wake up, they would pee, and teacher have them
read or have a look at reading book. Whenever students play, or done with book looking or
reading, they need to tidy up was their duty. After that, they put on their socks and help tidy up
the class which they can and go down to lunch area to have milk and eat fruits while waiting
for their parents. As usually, we need to clean the classroom and dismissed around 4:30 if there
is teaching meeting.
January 26 (Friday)
As the class start, the students were having class one a week with Dr. Christ, so KG-1
need to have class with him at morning time (Listening to music + sing an English song. After
that, students went outside of the class to have a look at puppies which stay beside the school
which teacher linked to explain it with the little pig’s story. After that teacher continue showed
them real caterpillar and students have a look one by one. Once they done, they were having
lunch, brush their teeth and wash up, take a nap, and have a milk after waking up from nap.
Then, readily waiting for their parents at taking lunch area as usual. After sending off all the
students, homeroom teacher and I clean up the toys and clean up the classroom.
Week 4
January 29 (Monday)
Since it was Monday, the students have morning meeting. Then, it was the first day I
started to teach in Kg-1 English (Jolly phonic) after 3 weeks observation. I was assigned to
teach Kg-1. The students in KG-1 were manageable as there were around 15 students. After I
taught jolly Phonic, students went down to the garden for PE class. Then, as part of hand-on
activities, students were required to write the small letter of “f”. After students ate, and done
with sleeping, they were assigned to draw on the given paper “What are you thinking about?”.
Students will draw or paint anything that they want. Once they done, they need to prepare their
bag and helping tidy up the classroom. After that they would drink their milk and eat fruit while
waiting for their parents pick up.
January 30 (Tuesday)
Actually, students were going to have cutting vegetable Infront of school activity but
because of the raining weather, we couldn’t make it. Since coming Friday will be going a one-
day field trip, homeroom teacher gives the instruction to students about what they should be
bring in their bag pack with them (mosquito spray, water bottle, slipper, shorts, shirt, and hat).
After that, students have to draw the given paper the things that they should be bring with them.
Since it was raining, the students just playing in the classroom instead of playing in the garden.
After that, students having lunch, and sleep. When they wake up, they would have story, which
teacher read to them about “Caty the caterpillar”. Then, teacher will show them the real
caterpillar and show them the real process of the life cycle of Butterfly. After that they would
put their bottled inside their bag, put on the socks and go down to lunch area to take a milk and
fruit while waiting for their parents pick up.
January 31 (Wednesday)
Today the class goes as usual days. The homeroom teacher would talk to them about
what is the weather like today as morning meeting sharing. Then, the teacher asks them to draw
the life cycle of butterfly. Then, I would have to assist the teacher by separate students go to
homeroom and half to me to assist students drawing. Today, there is no playing time in the
garden because students have to prepared jam for Friday field trip. After that students will back
to the classroom for continue drawing the life cycle of butterfly. Once they done, Kg-1 and Kg-
2 students will combine to see what the place of the field trip, the animals that they will be
seeing and the other activities that they will be doing. After that, students will have their lunch,
and sleep. As they wake up, I would teach and review them the Jolly Phonic Book-3. After that,
they all have to prepare their things and drink their milk and have fruit while waiting for their
parents pick up.
FEBRUARY JOURNAL
February 1( Thursday)
As usual morning, I would be arrived at school at 7:45 and preparing or arranging
student’s classroom. Then, waiting for students in the classroom. Once students arrive in the
classroom, I would review then the phonic book 3. After that, students will be walking as a line
to the place to observe the sound of birds and observe the vegetable in front of the school. Once
Then, they will go down by holding their water bottle to the lunch area and play in the garden.
After students get changes, they would go to Kg-2 class for listening to the teacher presentation
about tomorrow field trip. After that, they would have lunch and take a nap. As usual, they
would fold their bed, tidy up their things and class materials. After that they would go down to
lunch area to have a milk and fruits while waiting for their parents pick up.
February 2 (Friday)
Today Kg-1 & 2 have field trip at Huen Kham Fah. The parents will drop their kid at
that place between 8:30-8:50 am. Then, Dr. Christ will introduce and talk about activities 9:00-
9:30 am by showing around students the place, hiking, duck, and hen. After that, the students
have snack at 9:30-10:00 am. After that, Dr. Christ lead the students explore nature by going to
the hill and explain students about the soil, tree, walking in the bush or grass, have students
experience swimming in the pond. Once students done with the activities, they would change
their clothes and waiting for their lunch. Then, students having lunch at 11:30-12:30 together
with the teachers. After students done with their lunch, they would require finding three
different types of leaves. After that, students will clean their hand and have fruits. Once students
done with eating, students have an art activity while waiting for their parents pick up at 1:30-
2:00 pm.
Week 5
February 5 (Monday)
Every Moring student and teacher will have morning meet by sharing students daily
experience or information. Then, I would teach the Origo book of “Peter Piper”. Basically,
students will learn the fruits name, color, and numbers in this book. After that, students will
go down for garden time for PE class. Then, student will have water break. After that, students
that get dirt will change their clothes. Once students done, I would review the jolly phonic book
3 together with students. Then, students will prepare bed before going to take lunch. Once they
done with their lunch, they will have nap time. After they get up, they would do the activities
1 by coloring the pears from Peter Piper story. Once they done, they would put a ways mat,
pack up, put socks on. Then, they would have snack time while waiting for pick-up.
February 6 (Tuesday)
After together time, I would review the story of peter piper and continue with yesterday
activity which is cutting the fruit that they color yesterday and stick it on the tree (worksheet)
and color the tree. As daily routine, students will have an outdoor or garden time. After that
they would have water break. Then, students who get dirt will change meanwhile the other
students will do the incomplete activity from peter piper book. Then, go for lunch time,
naptime, students continue to complete the worksheet individually or three students at a time.
Then, students have snack time while waiting for parents pick up.
February 7 (Wednesday)
As the class start, I would review the jolly phonic book 1 by using flashcard individually
to see how far students able to read and remember the sound and the alphabets. Based on this,
some students able to read but some students cannot match the sound with word. Meanwhile I
call students to come to me individually, the rest of the students will do coloring task which led
by homeroom teacher. After that they would have garden time to play with all the students. As
usual once they done playing, they would change clothes, preparing bed, take lunch, sleep,
complete the cutting fruit from Peter Piper book activities as students wake up. After that
students will drink their milk and eat fruits while waiting for parents pick up.
February 8 (Thursday)
As soon as the class start, student’s teacher will have morning meeting for sharing and
question session. After that, I would review the alphabets A-Z by reading phonic sound. Then,
students will go to the garden for playing together time. After that, students will get change.
Once students done, I will review the story of “Peter Piper” to students. Then, they would
prepare their bed, take lunch, and sleep. As usual, they would drink and have fruit while waiting
for their parents pick up. After students dismissed, me and my homeroom teacher will clean up
our classroom. s
February 9 (Friday)
Today we basically celebrate Chinese New Year by doing activities for students. As
students arrive to the classroom, they all gather for morning meeting in Nursery classroom for
Chinese New Year explanation and group photo taking. Then, all the students arrange
themselves as a long line Infront of the school to see firecracker and students will get red
envelop as soon as they enter the classroom. After that, students will make Chinese cup cake,
then they would color the new year photo printed while waiting for others class making
cupcake, then students take lunch, sleep and get to take back the cup cupcake that they make
with them home individually.
Week-6
February 12 (Monday)
As the students arrive in the classroom, they would play while waiting for their friends.
Then, they would have morning meeting by sharing their daily experiences. Next, I would
review student phonic. Every Monday, students would have PE class and it was same time as
garden time. When students have left little extra time, homeroom teacher would ask them to
play inside the classroom instead of playing in the garden. Then, I would continue for them
doing Peter Piper Origo activities meanwhile homeroom teacher would tell the story for them
so that students won’t play around. After that, student would have lunch, taking nap, and have
reading time again. After that, students would be ready and have a milk and fruit while waiting
for their parents pick up.
February 16 (Friday)
As usual, I would be sitting with students in the morning meeting while they are
drinking their water. Then, I Then, I would review them jolly phonic 3 and follow by writing
through dot line individually. Then, they would have garden time, continue with unfinish
writing, have lunch, and taking nap. Once they woke up from nap, I ask them to wear their
sock, put their water bottle into the bad and continue telling a story about garbage and explain
to them about what is waste and how we should handle or taking care of those waste. After
that, I they would go down to eating area for drinking their milk and have fruits while waiting
for their parents pack up.
Week 7
February 19 (Monday)
Since it was Monday, some students will come to school crying, but when they arrive
in the classroom, they would stop crying immediately because they have friends and toys to
play with. As they arrive at school, they can play with classroom toys while waiting for other
friends until 9 am. After that, I would continue with their incomplete worksheet of writing a
letter words. As we need to call them one by one, it did take long time to finish all of them in
a day. As the time arrived for garden time, students would enjoy playing in the garden till 10:40
am. Then, those who get dirty would get change and those who didn’t change will continue
with their letter writing. As it was about to for lunch time, they would prepare their sleeping
map and go down to lunch area to take their lunch. After they done with lunch, they would take
a nap till 2 pm. Once they woke up, some would need to finish their letter writing and some
would fold up their sleeping mat. When it is 2:30 pm, they would be ready to drink their milk
and eat fruits while waiting for their parents pick up. For us (Teachers) we need to clean and
mop our classroom when all the students go home.
February 20 (Tuesday)
As the class start, I would have morning meeting with students, and sharing daily
experiences. Then, I would continue with telling a story about garbage and explain to them
about what is waste and how we should handle or taking care of those waste. Plus, explain
them about recycling process and where all the waste turn into the items that we use and etc.
After that I would continue with color the recycling truck. When it comes to doing activity, we
can call them individually or two at a time for complete the activity task and let the rest of the
students playing in the classroom. After that they would have garden time, lunch time, and nap
time. Once they wake up, students that haven’t done will compete their task and they would
take their milk and eat fruit as usual while waiting for their parents pick up.
February 21 (Wednesday)
Today, after morning meeting with student, I would continue with their yesterday task
by adding more items to seem like a trash on the recycling truck. As I need to call them
individually it takes longer time, so I need to support them to complete their task whenever
they have learning time. As usual, they would have their daily routine as usual though out the
whole day.
February 22 (Thursday)
After having morning meeting with students, I would remind them the story about Peter
Piper origo math and continue with addition by showing them adding two side of my hand
fingers. They enjoy it really much even though they cannot say the answer right away. Then, I
would continue with activity of coloring the picture according to the number written beside of
the picture. Some of the students able to identify the number but some could not make it. When
it is time for garden time, the students will play happily in the garden. When any students got
hurt during playing, the homeroom teacher will directly send the message to the parents as part
of report what is happening with the kids. After students playing, they would get change, if
have time try to continue their uncomplete task, and prepare their sleeping mat and go to take
lunch. As usual, they would take nap after eating and drink milk, and eat fruits while waiting
for their parents pick up.
February 23 (Friday)
This week been a bit chaos for me because I need to switch my place to Kg-2 due to
the requirement of Kg-1 nanny training. Since I am an intern, I am not dared to say anything
to principle about why I can’t stay in Kg-1 even though they have new nanny. If they really
consider for me as an intern, they will not do such things to me that will provide uncomfortable
situation. Since I need to go to another class, I feel exhausted that I need to learn everything
from the beginning about the classroom and about the behavior of each student.
Week 8
February 27 (Tuesday)
As I have mentioned last week, I have been switching to Kg-2 due to nanny training
process. Thus, I need to do the same class with my other intern. The students would have
morning meeting together with teacher in cycle and review some phonic in the morning time.
After that some students will be called to complete their math meanwhile the others were
allowed to play with other toys. After that student would have garden time. After back from
garden time, some student would be drill phonic with another teacher and some students will
still continue with their incomplete math workbook. After students done, they would prepare
their sleeping mat and take their lunch. After students done with lunch time, they would brush
their teeth and take a nap. Once they get up, they would fold their own sleeping mat and ready
for their snack times while waiting for their parents pick up.
February 28 (Wednesday)
It was a happy moment for me that I get to back to the Kg-1 class because staying in
this class make me feel like I belong to this class. Plus, as usual I would help homeroom teacher
with leading the students and doing the activities for students. Today, I taught new origo book
about the racing horse (basically about the ordinal order). I would tell them the story about it
and come up with critical questions after that. After the story telling about it, I would lead them
the activity of coloring the horses according to the book horses. As they r slow in coloring, they
would take time more in coloring so every free time that they would have, I would call
individual or two at once to complete the coloring. As their daily routine, they would have
playing in garden time after morning lesson, they would have free little time before preparing
their own sleeping mat so I would call one by one to complete their coloring task. After that
they would have lunch, take a nap and put in their socks tidy up their water bottle into their bag
once they get up. After that they would have a milk and fruits time while waiting for their
parents’ pick-up.
February 29 (Thursday)
Today is the day I will be observed by my professor. I feel a bit excited as I been a way
with my students for several day. However, I did my best in teaching and managing the students
during the teacher is observing. I feel a bit nervous and upset with my teaching as students at
Kg-1 age are hard to manage to get quiet. After the teaching, Dr. Nalten talk to me and give me
suggestions of how I can do better in the future, so I feel supported and have energy to continue
teaching. In the evening, I talk to my homeroom teacher about if I can come back to kg-1 room
and work as usual. Since she also need me in helping her with teacher, she sent the message to
Mrs. Joy to get approval. She did approve as we requested her, so I was able to back to Kg-1
with a happy mood.
MARCH JOURNAL
March 1(Friday)
As usual day, I was able to come back and work as usual in Kg-1 so I feel much happy
and lighter to continue working. Today, I taught students about the origo “The Racing Horses”
which is about the ordinal number places. After that the students would have small group of
completing activity such as cooling the place as provided in the worksheet. They may not
compete all within one period so every time they have free time, I would call them individually
to complete the worksheet and the rest were allowed to play. After the first period of teaching,
they would have garden time, after gardening time, they would change and some students that
didn’t change would have reading time which is basically seeing the picture in the book. After
that they would have lunch, nap, and have snack time while they are waiting for their parents
pick up.
Week 9
March 4 (Monday)
Today, I was assigned to review the jolly phonic book 3 for the kids. Then, after that I
would continue with the story book about the garden. After that I would complete the worksheet
with the students that haven’t finish with their task in the previous week. After that, they would
have PE class. When it is teaching in the classroom, I will be the one who leading the lesson
teaching and the homeroom teacher would remind students to pay attention while I am teaching
when some students fail to focus. After the PE class, they would back to their class and play as
they didn’t have gardening time due to clash with PE time. After that students would prepare
their sleeping mat, they would go to lunch area to have lunch. After lunch time, they would
have nap time, story time and snack time in the lunch area while waiting for their parents pick
up.
March 5 (Tuesday)
Today I would teach origo in kindergarten-1 class about 40-minute Origo Math lesson.
Origo Math helps kids learn the position of an object in order from first, second, third, fourth

the give position of the pictures. After that, the daily routine continued with playtime,
lunchtime, nap time, and snack time. Playtime allows kids to have fun and make friends while
developing social skills. Lunchtime is when everyone eats together with teacher and me. Nap
time gives children a chance to rest and recharge. Snack time is a yummy break where kids
enjoy tasty treats such as milk and fruits. This routine provides a balanced mix of learning, fun,
and relaxation, creating a nurturing environment for young learners.
March 6 (Wednesday)
For today, in the kindergarten-1 class, I would continue with Origo Math session. I will
be using the same story of Origo Math book, but students would have to do different activities.
Basically, I must repeatedly instruct students by focusing on teaching children about the
sequence of objects, from the first to the last position. After the lesson, the students engaged in
small group activities, where they colored pictures according to their given positions.
Following this, our daily routine continued with designated times for play, lunch, nap, and
snack. Playtime fosters social interaction and friendship building among the children. During
lunchtime, both the students and I shared a meal together. Nap time provides a chance for the
kids to rest, while snack time offers delicious treats like milk and fruits. This routine ensures a
harmonious blend of education, enjoyment, and relaxation, nurturing the growth of our young
learners.
March 7 (Thursday)
For today in the kindergarten-1 class, I just review Origo Math for the kindergarden-1.
We may be sticking with the same story from our Origo Math book, but this time, the students
will be doing different activities. I'll be guiding them through understanding the order of
objects, from the first to the last position. Sometimes I won’t be able to finish the individual
activity within a day so I would continue the previous activity today. After the lesson, the kids
will work in small groups, colouring pictures based on where they belong in the sequence.
Then, students will continue with our usual routine of play, lunch, nap, and snack time.

March 8 (Friday)
Today, I would basically review the student with jolly Phonic Book 1 again and follow
by writing activity after that. Today the homeroom teacher is having meet with the parents so
I will be the one who was leading the Kg-1 class. As we know, most kids usually listen to their
homeroom teacher so on that day I need to use my energy double for them to follow my
instruction. As usual, at 10 am students would have garden time, have changed after play,
readily prepared their sleeping mat and having lunch after that. When they woke up, they would
put on their socks and put the water bottle into their bag. Meanwhile some students help teacher
folding up foam at before they went down to downstair for snack time. During their snack time,
it was the time that they waited for their parents pick up.
March 11 (Monday)
This week is the last week for this term. As usual, all the students and teachers would
have morning meeting in nursery class. After that Tr. James would announce about the last term
and sing the action along with the students. Once the meeting done, students would go back to
the classroom, and I would review the jolly Phonic Book 2 with them together. After that I
would divide them into group for playing while individual of them would meet with me for
completing writing phonic work activity. After that they would have play time, lunch time, nap
time. As they work up, I would read a story and tell them so that they would stay calm before
going downstairs for the milk or snack time. After that they would be ready with their bags and
line up to walk down to have a snack time while waiting for their parents pick up.
March 12 (Tuesday)
Today we didn’t really have many activities about teaching apart from instructing
students about what the school was going to do tomorrow. Then, we would have students
meeting together in nursery classroom. After that students would play in their own classroom,
and I would be the one that handle them. As the term is about to end, the homeroom teacher
was a bit busy as they would have meeting about the report. When the homeroom teacher was
having meeting during their sleeping time, I have a hard time controlling 3 or 4 students as they
known that their homeroom teacher was not there. Because of they didn’t listen to me, I raised
my voice, and it seems nothing to them, so I called one of the other teachers to help me putting
them into sleep. As usual, as soon as they woke up, they would pee, some help teachers with
tidy up the foam mat and readily go to lunch area to have their milk and fruit while waiting for
their parents pick up.
March 13 (Wednesday)
Today was the last for the term 1 in KKIPS and at the same time with the graduation
day of KG-3. Since it was the last day of the term, we don’t have any teaching lesson anymore.
We have as an interns and teachers; we were a bit busy as we need to carefully look after the
students come and go outside of the classroom. After the graduation ceremony, the students
would back to their belonging area and having their lunch and snacks. After that they would go
back early around 12 pm. For other teachers and interns, we were able to go to home after all
the helping in the school.
