(up to 4 digits) by a 1-digit number with or without regrouping,
2. use an alternative method to multiply whole numbers (up to 4
digits) by a 1-digit number,
3. estimate the product of a 4-digit whole number and a 1-digit
whole number to determine whether the answer is reasonable,
Course Goals: 4. use the procedures in multiplication to multiply a whole number
(up to 3 digits) by 10 or tens using two different methods with or
without regroupings,
5. multiply a whole number (2 or 3 digits) by another 2 digit
whole number with or without regrouping; and,
6. Estimate the product of a 2 or 3 digit whole number and a
2-digit whole number to determine whether the answer is
reasonable.
