Simulation Recap
You started by creating a work plan and project board. Then, you learned about
data analysis and used your new knowledge to analyze some data given to you to
prepare for next week’s task on data visualization. Finally, you closed the week
with a professionally written email highlighting all the progress made on VacAI. The
email was addressed to your manager and teammates at Waga.
Congratulations on all your hard work and dedication this week! We are confident
that the knowledge you gained will propel you forward in your career. Let’s finish
the week strong by completing Milestone 3 using the instructions provided.
Tip: Check out the rubric before submitting your Milestone Worksheet.
Step 1: AI Toolkit
To access your AI Toolkit, Go to your personal ALX AICE Google Drive, then locate your updated
AI Toolkit Spreadsheet. Make sure your AI Toolkit is updated and contains prompts and
workflow optimization processes from the following activities:
● Try Out Chat GPT For Task Management
● Research Sprint
● Writing prompt
Next, Click "Share" (under the 3 dots) and adjust the settings so that it looks like
this:
For the ChatGPT Project Board, make sure you add details that you get after asking ChatGPT to
create a project board following the instructions from this activity.
After confirming that you have filled your worksheet correctly, Click "Share" (under
the 3 dots) and adjust the settings to “Anyone with the link can view.”
Create research questions, you would typically ask when researching the vacation and hospitality
industry, so you get a clear understanding of why users might not use VacAI (Waga Vacation app)
Part B:
Follow the research steps and provide answers to the text highlighted in blue under “Your response
column”
Part C:
Paste your research questions from part a, and your response in part b into ChatGPT and ask it to
create a research summary that can guide you as you progress through the simulation activity at
Waga.
After confirming that, save the worksheet as a PDF file and upload it to your designated AiCE Google
Drive.
Then, Click"Share" (under the 3 dots) and adjust the settings to “Anyone with the
link can view.” Next, paste the link in the box below;

Step 5b: Email to Colleagues (ChatGPT)
I'm reaching out to share the latest developments regarding our ongoing exploration
of user engagement with VacAI. Additionally, I'm keen to gather your perspectives as
we chart our next steps in this endeavor.
Our efforts this week have been focused on delving deeper into user engagement
dynamics surrounding VacAI. Through a combination of user interviews, meticulous
web research, and data analysis, we've made significant headway in uncovering
insights into user behaviors and preferences. Attached, you'll find our updated
project board on Google Sheets, providing a comprehensive overview of our
discoveries.
**Research Questions:**
1. What correlations exist between specific features or their absence in VacAI and
the observed levels of user engagement?
2. How can we delineate the factors contributing to either high or low levels of user
engagement with VacAI?
Your input and insights play a pivotal role in shaping our research trajectory and
refining our approach to addressing the challenges faced by VacAI users. I encourage
you to share any thoughts or queries you may have as we continue to navigate this
exploration together.

As a student learning about AI, I believe it can effectively aid in managing time.
AI-powered tools like scheduling assistants and task managers streamline workflows by
automating tasks and offering insights into time usage patterns. By prioritizing activities
and providing reminders, AI assists in optimizing time allocation. Its ability to analyze data
related to time usage further enhances decision-making, making AI a valuable asset in
improving time management skills for students and professionals alike.
AI can analyze data by processing large volumes quickly, identifying patterns and
correlations using machine learning algorithms. Additionally, AI-powered tools can
extract insights from unstructured data and present findings through intuitive
visualizations, aiding in data interpretation and decision-making.
I can improve prompts by ensuring clarity, specificity, and relevance to the task at hand,
providing context or examples within the prompt to guide the AI's understanding, and
regularly refining prompts based on feedback and experience to enhance effectiveness
over time.
