Objective: By the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
- understand more details about simple present.
- use the simple present tense to describe scenes and actions in various settings.
Note: T= Teacher; Ss = Students; mns = minutes; Ex = Example

 Greeting Some ss may arrive late
- T greets and chats with Ss. Whiteboard

 Revising (Technique: Stand Up and Recall)
Some ss may give wrong
Opening -T calls a few Ss to stand up and say words which they have answers
learnt during the previous session. 5mn
-T gives some corrections for Ss if needed.
-T summarizes the vocabulary which Ss have already learnt
in the previous session as the whole class.
 Warm Up: Example
- T asks ss to give some example sentences by using the “five
senses” . 5mn Some ss may give wrong
-T checks some grammars and pronunciatios for Ss. answers
-Ss are asked to give examples in present simple tense.
 Transition
-T says “Today, you are going to learn a new grammar point
about present simple”

 Technique 1: Rule Introduction
-T begins the lesson by reviewing the concept of the simple
present tense with the students.
- T explains that this tense is used to describe actions that happen 10mn Coursebook

 Technique 2: Memory Marker
- T tell ss to work individually to memorize and review

- While ss are memorizing the lesson, T write some
practice exercises on the whiteboard
- T pair ss and let them ask each other
- T call a few ss to the whiteboard and let other ss ask 15mn

- T ask ss to do the exercises on the whiteboard
- Ss work in the same pair and compare their answer
T check the answer as the whole class.

 Technique 1: Gap filling


- Ss are asked to do exercise “1” and “2” on page 116
- T models one sample to guide Ss to do this technique. 10mn Coursebook
- T sets time 10 mns for Ss to do this technique. Whiteboard
- After 12 mns, Ss are required to compare the answers Marker
with their neighbor.
Practice -T gives the answers as the whole class.
 Technique 2:Sentences making 10 mn
-T ask Ss to create 10 present simple sentences individually.
-T sets time 10mns for the test.
-T asks a few ss to come write their sentences on the
whiteboard.
-T asks ss to read their sentences and correct their mistakes.

 Technique 1: sentences building


-T divides ss into small groups and give them one different
scense to each group.
-T asks Ss to write sentences in the simple present tense to 10mn
describe what is happening in each scene.
Production -T encourages them to use a variety of verbs and subjects.
 Technique 2:Peer review and discussion
-T has Ss pair up and share their sentences with a partner.
- Encourage students to provide feedback on each other's
sentences and offer suggestions for improvement. 10mn

- T asks Ss what they have learnt today.


- T wraps up the lesson.
- T praises and thanks Ss for their active participation 5mn
Closing
and cooperation.
- T says “Goodbye” to Ss.

 The lesson is planned for 85 minutes, and some activities may take more or less than the estimated time.
 Some techniques may be skipped.
 This lesson plan is subject to change due to unexpected circumstances.
