NARRATIVE REPORT
Demo teaching about the factors affecting weather—temperature,
humidity, wind, and air pressure—was an enlightening experience that allowed me to explore deeper into meteorology while honing my teaching skills.
I began by preparing a detailed lesson plan, following the advice of my
instructor, Doctor Jonelle Alcantara. His emphasis on preparation and the importance of a well-structured lesson plan as the guiding compass of an educator resonated with me. It helped me stay organized and ensured that the topics were covered comprehensively.
During the lessons, I made sure to be direct and provide numerous
examples to illustrate each weather factor. This approach not only made the concepts clearer but also encouraged active participation and engagement from my classmates. Interactive class discussions became a regular part of

Feedbacking to students was another crucial aspect I learned from
Doctor Alcantara. Acknowledging their contributions, providing constructive feedback, and encouraging them to explore further deepened their understanding and boosted their confidence.
One of the highlights was incorporating hands-on activities to
demonstrate the effects of temperature, humidity, wind, and air pressure. From simple experiments like creating mini wind tunnels to observing changes in air pressure with altitude, these activities made the abstract concepts tangible and memorable.
Throughout the teaching experience, I always made an effort to smile
and maintain a positive attitude, as advised by Doctor Alcantara. This not only helped create a welcoming atmosphere but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and mutual respect among classmates.
Reflecting on this experience, I realized the value of comprehensive
teaching methods, interactive learning, and effective communication in conveying complex topics. Doctor Alcantara's teachings have significantly influenced my approach to education, emphasizing the importance of preparation, engagement, and empathy in teaching.
As I continue on my journey as an educator, I carry with me the
lessons learned from Doctor Alcantara—always be prepared, be comprehensive in teaching, engage students through interactive discussions, provide feedback, and maintain a positive demeanor. These principles will guide me in inspiring and empowering future learners, just as this experience has inspired and empowered me.
THANK YOU SO MUCH DOC FOR TEACHING US WITH FUN!!!
