Marks: 70 Marks

Use these instructions to complete your project. This is a group project - it must be done as per
groups provided. No one is allowed to change groups.
1) Choose a project topic of your preference
2) Describe what the project does in one paragraph of not more than 5 sentences
3) Draw a domain model (ERD) of your project – The ERD must contain at least 5 entity sets
4) Create a database with the entity sets defined in the domain model - Make use of all
necessary constraints to ensure the integrity of data
5) In each entity set, add at least 10 records
6) Implement your project using a PLSQL Package
7) Your project must illustrate modularization through subprograms
8) Use as much class concepts covered in class as possible (Variable attributes, Exceptions,
Control structures, Cursors, Subprograms, etc.)
Each group will have 15 Minutes to present their work. There will be 5 questions asked during
presentation (10 Marks)
Submission Format: (60 Marks)

 The submitted pdf file must contain the names and ID of the group members (2 Marks)
 The title of your project (2 Marks)
 A paragraph describing your group project (6 Marks)
 The detailed ERD of your project (15 Marks)
 Scripts used to create tables (15 Marks)
 Your package codes (20 Marks)
For, the presentation, each group must prepare a 5 slides power point containing:
The project description, definition of subprograms, types of subprograms, definition of a what a
package is, and examples to illustrate these later. For the examples, you can use the SQL scripts
that you created in the project
