EITHER

OPTION 1
Purpose: Write a leaflet to raise awareness about ‘Adopt, Don’t Shop.’

Audience: General public

Title: Create a title that draws attention.

Main content

 Write a short introduction about the topic. You could start with a creative hook (a sentence
or question that instantly ‘hooks’ your readers’ attention.)
 Information about adoption—benefits, information about how to adopt, encouragement
about responsible pet ownership, personal stories of people who have adopted (these are
suggestions—you may add your own improvisations)
 Conclude with a ‘call to action’ and contact details (if there are any).

Visuals:

Feel free to add colours, drawings, doodles, or any artistic expressions related to the topic

Assessment Criteria:

Creativity: (5 marks)

You will be assessed on how creatively and uniquely the leaflet is designed and written.

Clarity: (5 marks)

You will be assessed on how clear and understandable the information presented is.

You can feel free to print out pictures, but please do not type out the information. I’d like you to
write it down. You have full creative license on how you want your leaflet to look like.

OPTION 2
Purpose: Write a leaflet to raise awareness about cutting down food wastage in the school canteen

Audience: BIS students

Title: Create a title that draws attention.

Main content

 Write a short introduction about the topic. You could start with a creative hook (a sentence
or question that instantly ‘hooks’ your readers’ attention.)
 Information about food in the canteen—information about how the food, wastage,
encouragement about being mindful about wastage, (these are suggestions—you may add
your own improvisations)
 Conclude with a ‘call to action’ and contact details (if there are any).
