The gods demand obedience through their tenets of faith.
Yet, no priest has ever had their prayers truly answered.
None, save for you. Your benedictions are returned in the
form of miracles, as the gods use you as their Chosen vessel
of divine might. In exchange for such gifts, yours is a life of
reverence and utter devotion. But, unfortunately, the gods
are nothing but fickle, demanding of you strict adherence
to their commandments . . . or else.
Like Ætherealists, you draw Magick from the same
wellspring where all deities derive their power—the
Æthereal Veil. But what do you do when your god doesn’t
answer your prayers? The answers may surprise you, for
other gods—elder, forgotten gods—will appease such
supplications. But be warned: your deity may punish you
for transgressions against their will. Worse still, you could
become a cat’s-paw of a demonic entity, spreading their
infernal works through you.
