To resolve the environmental problem, in our daily routine we should avoid single-use
plastic, promoting clean and affordable energy, go for sustainable agriculture, reduce food
waste, plant more trees and go paperless, promote green innovations, conserve water and
electricity and use reusable products instead of disposable ones.
Two examples for relevant Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that relate to our
personal daily routine are the first example is goal 7 is where it is about affordable and clean
energy. As for our daily routine for clean energy we can use solar energy, wind energy and
hydroelectric energy. Solar energy is versatile and can be used to heat water and buildings,
power appliances, and provide light to homes. Solar energy is also used to create electricity.
Second example is goal 6 that is clean water and sanitation. And as for our daily lives,
keep a bucket in the shower to collect excess water. Collect rainwater to use for your plants
and save on water. Use recycled water from the RO (Reverse Osmosis) to clean your house.
Realistic action that can be taken to resolve the environmental issue for local course
level is for example having mutual cooperation in living area such as plant the trees in the
living area and conduct cleaning once a week.
I believed for his EPC (Environment, Pollution and Conservation) issue it has been
developed. Whereby, we can see that our national is conducting recycle programme, where
we can see the recycle bin is everywhere in our country and the nearest we can see is at
Waterfront, Kuching.
To conclude, the significance of resolving EPC issues and its influence towards society
is to preserve resources like clean air, water and wildlife for future generations.
