This procedure allows our graduates to validate their UTEL studies in United States territory, enjoying the
same benefits and legal conditions as a Bachelor or Master graduate, such as:
The NACES or AICE equivalence report is generally accepted by a wide range of employers, higher
education institutions and government agencies in the USA, as indicated on the report the
student receives. However, it is important to note that each employer and each institution of
higher education in the U.S. is free to decide which foreign academic credential evaluation
reports or academic equivalency of studies abroad it recognizes (or to perform the equivalency
evaluation itself) and is not obligated to accept the report of an agency attached to NACES or
AICE, so the STUDENT will not be able to make any claim to UTEL, since UTEL has no responsibility
for that purpose

WHICH AGENCY PERFORMS THE ACADEMIC EQUIVALENCE EVALUATION IN THE UNITED STATES?
The Accrediting Agency Josef Silny & Associates, a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES), is in charge of
evaluating foreign credentials through a series of associated agencies.
AN AMERICAN DEGREE IS NOT ISSUED BUT AN EVALUATION OF THE ACADEMIC EQUIVALENCE OF THE
UTEL DEGREE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
As a result of this convalidation or equivalence process, the graduate receives an Academic Degree Equivalency Report
with its respective Hague Apostille by the Accreditation Agency Josef Silny & Associates, member of the National
Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
