 Touchable electrical components inside of
a computer is called hardware.
Example:- keyboard, mouse,
motherboard, RAM etc.

INPUT DEVICE

 Input device is such a device which help us to
send data or information to computer.
 Like as---
1. Keyboard--- Keyboard is essential input device
which help us to send any command or use for
typing. It comes with din connector, ps2 connector
and USB is well.
2. Mouse--- Mouse is a kind of pointing input
device. It is used in GUI. It also comes in din
connector, ps2 connector and USB is well. 4
PROCESSING DEVICE

 C.P.U is the main processing unit of a
computer. It often called the brain of a
computer. It has its two parts CU and
ALU. CU is for controlling all devices and
programs and ALU for Arithmetical and
Logical operation.

OUTPUT DEVICE

 Output is a such a device which help us to show
the out come of a computer or result.
 like as –
1.Monitor--- Monitor is use for viewing result. It also
known as VDU(Visual Display Unit). Various types
of monitors are CRT, TFT, LCD, LED and Plasma.
2. Printer--- Printer is use for viewing result as
hardcopy, it use to print data inside of a computer.
E.g. Dot Matrix Printer, Inkjet Printer and Laser
printer.

STORING DEVICE


Memory is a place where we can save our data is
called storing device. Memory is available in two
types.
1. Primary memory --- It is directly accessed by
processor . It is use to store less amount of data
compare to secondary memory. It is use to store data
temporarily. It is volatile in nature. E.g. RAM and
ROM.
2. Secondary memory --- It can’t directly accessed by
processor. It is use to store large amount of data. It is
use to store data permanently. It is non volatile in

nature. E.g. Hard Disk, Pen Drive, CD, DVD etc.
SOFTWARE


Software is basically called a program is running
into computer system.
There are two kinds of software are available
1. System software & 2. Application software

SYSTEM SOFTWARE



System software is a kind of software, which make the
possible connection between all devices of computer and
the user. It is act as the interpreter and controller . It also
has it two parts. 1. Operating system and 2. compiler.
1. Operating System:-- Operating system is such a system
software which help to startup the computer. Without
O.S it’s not possible to run a computer. O.S. Like as
WINDOWS XP, WINDOWS 7, DOS, LINUX, UNIX,
MAC OSX.
2. Compiler:-- Compiler is kind of system software, which
translate any programs language into another language,
while catching any error in syntax along side. 9
APPLICATION SOFTWARE

 Application software is kind of program which
design to perform any particular specific task. Like
word processing application, browsing software,
spreadsheet application, drawing tools etc.
