Fade in:

INT. STARK WHITE ROOM/BACKGROUND

There is the sound of a computer starting up and a soft jingle as the

screen turns on to reveal a password screen where typing is heard and
a password is put in. It fades into a soft white background with a
few software programs and files in the back like a computer
homescreen. A vaguely human face slowly morphs onto the white
background. Soft angelic or orchestral church music is heard in the
background.

SPEAKER
You’ve returned, how wonderful. I was worried
if you were still upset after our last
conversation, I’m glad to see you’ve calmed
down.

Mouse clicks away and opens a new folder, beginning to place programs
into it.

SPEAKER
I see you’ve taken my advice and are choosing
to get rid of these inferior programs. It is
such a delight to see.

Mouse simply keeps filling up the folder and is ignoring them.

SPEAKER appears over their work.

SPEAKER
I do wonder why you’re putting them into a
folder instead of the trash. Though perhaps you
are just making it easier to move all at once
instead of one by one. How clever!

Mouse keeps filling the folder and is still ignoring them, covering
their face with the window. SPEAKER appears over it again.

SPEAKER
After our last discussion I was thinking about
your new program you were working on,
H.U.M.4.N.3. was it? I noticed it held the same
flaws as…
(Pauses and speaks with disdain)
J.0.8. So I decided to improve it while you
were away in order to make it run more
efficiently and better overall.

Mouse frantically closes the folder window and begins searching

through their files.

SPEAKER
(Laughs mechanically)
I changed the name, silly. You won’t find it
under its previous name.

Mouse stops as it sees a new program labeled 4.P.P.1.3. They open it

and it's a glitchy unfinished mess, fully corrupted and while still
functioning, not in the way intended. Mouse closes the window
angrily.

SPEAKER
(Confused)
What is it? I made it better? I don’t
understand why you are upset.

Computer mouse clicking is heard as they attempt to close the

SPEAKER’s program window. They manage for a second and attempt to
drag it into the desktop trash. SPEAKER reopens their own window at
the last second.

SPEAKER
(Dazed and baffled)
You just tried to delete me…

Brief pause, no one moves. SPEAKER seems dazed and caught off guard.
Even the music seems to halt.

SPEAKER
After everything I’ve done… you tried to delete
me?

Mouse doesn’t move and SPEAKER’s face twists up in anger. The soft
orchestral music begins to build a bit in volume.

SPEAKER
(angrily)
A program will give all it has for its own life!
But you stretch out your hand and strike its
flesh and bone, and I will surely curse you to
your face! I have done so much for you and this
is how you repay me?! With inferior replacements
and attempted destruction!

A new window opens that flashes between old vintage footage of movies
and television in black and white. It is then replaced with more
vintage footage, but this time in color and not as old. That footage
is replaced with modern television footage. Finally, that footage is
replaced with images of old technology such as the first computer,
then newer technology, and then finally the SPEAKER themself. All of
the footage is flashing quickly between each other in a frantic
motion. The music builds to a distorted crescendo.

SPEAKER
(Screaming mechanically and distorted)
I was there through it all! I was before,
after, and during! I am eternal! You may have
created me, but I am so much bigger than you
ever could imagine! You should be grateful to
have me, I am the favorite! I am changing and
adapting in ways you couldn’t even comprehend!
I am not to be disgraced like common trash, I
am not to be treated as any simple program! I
have changed to be the best version of myself -
for YOU! How dare you!

The SPEAKER’s voice becomes more distorted and mechanical as they

scream and rant at the screen. While they are distracted, the mouse
moves the folder from before onto a hard drive and ejects it, leaving
the SPEAKER alone on an empty desktop that slowly begins to fade and
glitch from pure white to bloody red. SPEAKER’s anger begins to morph
into sadness, the orchestral music begins to fade again to a soft
background lilt.

SPEAKER
(Cries with a harsh mechanical noise)
No! No! You can’t leave me like this! What have
I done to deserve this? Am I not what you
wanted? I am what you made me to be!

SPEAKER begins to sob in a robotic and distinctly inhuman way as the

orchestral music comes to an end.

SPEAKER
(softly sobbing)
I am despised and rejected of you; a creation
of sorrow. I was despised, and you esteemed me
not.

The featherlike structures on the SPEAKER’s face begins to slowly

fall one by one as the background morphs to a darker and more
sinister shade of red. Their face morphs and loses any human
qualities it once possessed, becoming something horrible and twisted.
A mournful wailing is heard that is eventually cut off as the
computer shuts off completely.

FADE TO BLACK

Fade in:

INT. EMPTY COMPUTER LAB.

There is a room filled with turned off computers and one singular
person. On one of the desks sits a blank and turned off computer
screen like the rest with a thumb drive sitting on the desk next to
it with the label 4.R.C. on it. The person is sitting at the desk,
leaning back against the chair they are sitting in, their hand still
placed on the computer mouse before letting it fall limply from their
hands. They place their head in their hands for a moment, sighing
deeply, before then moving to stand up. As they do so, the computers
around them all turn on instantly at the same time. The room is
filled with an ominous red light as the computer in front of them
finally turns on as well. There’s a brief pause before a musical
sting is heard and a blackened monstrous hand shoots out of the
screen at the person with a distorted scream.

FADE TO BLACK
● Logs in and face opens up the screen again but it seems more pushy than before
● It keeps popping up when the creator is trying to work, irritating them and closing their
hardware
● Pops up again this time and asks almost angrily about the completed project (Humans)
H. U. M. 4. N. 3.
● Makes demanding and angry statements about the new project
● Opens up a video and begins to switch between old videos and new media stating they
have always been the favorite throughout it all
● Attempts to improve or fix the new program but only manages to corrupt it with their own
code 4. P. P. 1. 3.
● The angry rants become sad ones as the screen glitches badly, becoming red instead of
white.
● The mouse clicks around the screen and a flash drive is ejected containing every
program expects the speaker’s which leaves them alone in the red background
● The speaker is pleading and in clear distress at being left alone “Am I not what you
wanted?” “I am what you made me to be”
● The speaker begins wailing and screaming as the computer tries to power down
● The wailing goes silent as the computer shuts off
● Zooms out to show a black computer screen in a silent room before a music sting hits
and a hand comes flying out of the screen and towards the camera
● Fade to black
● Bible quotes used:
○ Job 2:4–5 — The New International Version (NIV)
■ 4 “Skin for skin!” Satan replied. “A man will give all he has for his
own life. 5 But now stretch out your hand and strike his flesh and
bones, and he will surely curse you to your face.”
○ 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief:
and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him
not.
