Interviewer 2: Hello. I’m …..I’m pleased to meet you.

Interviewer 1: To get started, Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
Interviewee : Yes, I’m Wai Phyo Aung and I graduated from Yangon University
with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Specialization in Human Resource
Management. Moreover, I’m also taking a course named The Arts and Science of
Relationships: Understanding Human Needs that is offered by the University of
Toronto.

Interviewer 1 : That's great. Can you tell me how you heard about this position?
Interviewee : A friend of mine saw this position on LinkedIn and forwarded it to
me.

Interviewer 1 : What attracted you to our company?

Interviewee : To be honest, what really caught my eye was the support you provide
for your employees. And I love your continuing education initiatives, where you
pay for employees to learn new skill sets. I think that really helps to build
employees' satisfaction and loyalty.

Interviewer 1 : What would you say is your greatest strength?

Interviewee : My greatest strength is flexibility. I find that this is very important
when I'm working with lots of different people and opinions.

Interviewer 1 : That's very good. Can you tell me about a time when you had to
deal with a difficult client or coworker?/ about a time when you had to respond to a
crisis?
Interviewee : I had to listen to the clients, take them seriously, suggest solution and
get regular feedback.

Interviewer 1 : What would you consider your greatest weakness?

Interviewee : Well, I’m too sensitive to myself when I’m working and I have
trouble saying “no” to others.
Interviewer 1 : Where do you see yourself in five years?
Interviewee : In five years, I see myself as an integral part of the company who has
helped contribute to the growth and success of the organization.

Interviewer 2: Now, we’ve known about yourself. So, let me ask you some
questions that are related to Human Resources. What is your understanding of the
role of a human resource department?
Interviewee: HR departments are responsible for hiring the right employees,
employee relations, health, and safety, payroll functions, training and development
processes, workplace communication, and much more.

Interviewer 2: Why do you want to work in the HR department?

Interviewee: Since I’ve been someone who loves to communicate with people,
enjoyed being able to help people earnestly, and always dreamt about my career as
an HR supervisor, I want to work in the HR department.

Interviewer 2: Great! Next question. What would be your expectations from this
job and company?
Interviewee: That’s a good question. Thank you for asking! I would like to work
for a company that has a positive work environment, can provide job and career
security, and can be recognized for my effort. And I also expect to have
opportunities to use my skills and abilities at work.

Interviewer 2: Perfect! So another a few quick questions. You do not mind working
long hours, do you?

work ethic, and leadership skills.

position?

Interviewee : Can you tell me a little bit more about the team that I would be
working with?

development team that has 10 team members including me.
