ASYLBIKE ABYLKASYM

Present simple
Hi everyone! I would like to tell you about my daily routine. So first of all I wake up at 7
o’clock in the morning every day except the weekend. I spend 10 minutes on my phone as I
need to check all important emails from my family and teachers. I do morning exercises and
meditation. Then I go to wash. When I wash my face I use cleansing gel, toner and vitamin C
and I do my makeup. After all this I have breakfast with my friends. I usually have scrambled
eggs with coffee for breakfast. Then I go to the university where I spend pretty much time. I
usually have two lessons at university. Each lesson is 2 hours long. During lunch I buy
myself a sandwich and juice. My lessons end at 4 o’clock. After my lessons I go to the café
with my friends to talk about our day, the news etc. While returning home in public transport
I always read a book. Now it is George Orwell nineteen eighty-four. I am at home at half past
five and the first thing that I have to do is feed my cat. After that, I change clothes and spend
an hour on the phone. So I get some rest. When my best friend come home we have a dinner
together and we always have a lot of housework to do in the evening, I sweep, she dusts.
Sometimes we watch movies, play all sorts of games and do our homeworks that lasts about
two hours. After a tired day I go for a walk, gather my thoughts and listen calm songs. Come
back home and have a hot shower. Prepare all of my stuffs for university and go to bed.
Now you know how I spend my day.

My last summer in my homeland
In this paragraph, I want to tell you what I did before entering Karabuk University.
As a child, I watched Turkish TV shows, I was very drawn to the language, to the culture. I
always asked my mother to buy CDs of Turkish TV series, I didn’t sleep until night in order
to watch the series that was on TV. After the 9th grade, I wanted to go to Turkey to study,
but I did not have time to submit the documents.
Therefore, I decided to do exactly after graduation. From the 10th grade, I went to English
courses, preparing for IELTS. In the 11th grade, I decided not to waste time on TOMER and
signed up for Turkish language courses. Thus, I prepared for IELTS, for the Turkish exam,
and I also had my own exams at school. I felt really bad, I wanted to give up. I stopped
communicating with my friends, there were quarrels with my parents, it was difficult for me
to cope with all this. And so I finished school, passed the school exams with excellent marks,
thank God. I passed the Turkish language exam and got the highest score. Passed the IELTS
but was disappointed in myself as I could have done better. I was upset, but that didn't stop
me. In addition, I was told that there were no places in my faculty in English. So everything
was quickly resolved.
I spent my last summer in Kazakhstan with my parents and friends. We walked a lot, talked a
lot, we knew that we would miss each other very much. I tried to spend as much time with
my family as possible. After all, they raised me from a very young age, fed, educated, cared
for, did not sleep at night. They did their best for me. And I didn't want to disappoint them,
so I gave my all for this study. I wanted to be their great pride. These were the last days in
my homeland, I was very happy that I was flying to get knowledge.
And the last minutes with my parents were coming we said goodbye for a very long time,
everyone could not believe that I was already leaving. My mother and brother did not stop
crying, I did not want to show them my tears, because I knew that it would be even worse for
them. I met with friends with whom I was going to fly together. We said goodbye and I left.
Present Continuous
It is evening now. It is very cold outside now that’s why I am sitting at home and doing my
task for exam. At the moment I am doing English. I am writing a composition about the
present continuous tense.
I want to talk to you about what is going on now. Chaos is happening in our earth. People
have completely stop caring for the earth, they treat the earth cruelly. The ocean our greatest
ally in the fight against climate change is in deep trouble. People knowing that the earth is in
trouble to this day continue to pollute everything. Global warming is considering the most
significant cause of climate change in recent times and it is effects will become more and
more felt in the next hundred years. The other problem is deforestation. It is destroying vital
habitat for plants and animals. This leading to loss of biodiversity and deterioration of
important ecosystems. Can you imagine that because of this we have lost about nine hundred
thousand species of animals and this is growing? Air pollution has not bypassed any country.
Indusrtial enterprises, harmful air poising emissions, exhaust gases from transport use
everywhere. Today to find clean water one has to go far outside the city or go to the nearest
supermarket. The only way i am seeing is to solve this problem not only at the state levels but
for each of us to start with ourselves.
Another kind of chaos is war. Russia vs Ukraine, Tajikistan vs Kyrgyzstan, Armenia vs
Azerbaijan. Governments keep doing it. Even if the other side is against it , even if the other
side is saying to talk like a human being that side is not taking a step back. I think that war is
not a solution to the problem it is deterioration in relations between countries.
I am sitting at home but other people suffering from it all.

Early days in Turkey
And so began a new, adult life. On the first day we were walking in Istanbul, we were
admiring the beautiful sea view. But what surprised me is that the cars do not follow the
rules of the road. No one was stopping at traffic lights, no one let people through. In the
evening we was driving to Karabuk, on the way we had fun with all our friends on the bus,
we were dancing, singing, playing, and was knowing each other better. I settled in a
dormitory with girls I knew. We were talking for a very long time and getting to know each
other more. The next day I found out that my Turkish language certificate was not accepted.
I had to take an exam at the university. I was scared, I was very worried. But luckily I
passed it perfectly and I had nothing to worry about anymore. I was tired because I was
collecting all documents. I had a month before starting my studies, so I was walking around
Turkey, discovering new places, meeting people from different countries. I was missing my
relatives, Kazakhstan. On the 27th September school began. That's all. I didn’t regret a bit
that I flew to Turkey.
