Larry is in a hurry
Hi everyone! I am Harry and I’m one of Santa’s
helpers. I live at the North Pole, of course, in a tiny
cottage in the helpers’ village. In this period my
colleagues and I are working hard but we are happy to
do it. When I am at the toy factory, I am in the team
that makes dolls and toy trains. We make dolls out of
plastic, and we make toy trains from wood. I’m very
good at carving wood and I can paint very well. As soon
as a toy train is ready for decorations, I take my
painting brushes and I paint it very carefully, paying
attention to every detail. I love painting these little
trains and my favourite colour is red. We start working at 8 o’ clock, then we have a 30-minutes
break at about 10 when we eat gingerbread biscuits. We usually sing all together when we work.
When I don’t work, I relax at home. I sit in my tiny armchair opposite my tiny fireplace and
read Christmas tales. But now I have to go… The toy trains are read for packaging… I am in a
hurry! Bye!!
