Preparation to be done:
Procedure:
1. Provide the children with the apple and leaf cutouts.
2. Ask the children to sponge dab on the cutout of the apple with
red paint and let it dry for a while.
3. Take the leaf cutout and help the children to paste it on the top of
the apple cutout.
Procedure:
1. Give the paper plate to the children and assist them to colour it
yellow by dabbing with a sponge and yellow paint.
2. Give the children the other cutouts and assist them to stick as
shown to make the eye mask and the mouth. Ask them to stick the 3 black strips at the
top, to resemble hair.
Preparation to be done:
Procedure:
1. Give the tan coloured cutout to the children.
2. Also give the four pieces of black string.
3. Ask the children to stick the black string on the circle cutout as
shown.

1. Provide the children with the face cutout of the cat.
2. Encourage the children to paint the cutout with the yellow paint
and the brush.
3. Teacher can draw the nose and mouth on the template as shown.
4. For whiskers give them woollen threads to stick above the mouth
of the cat.
5. Give two eyes cutouts to each child and help him/her stick it on
the face of the cat.
6. Teacher can make an outline for the cat’s face with a marker.
7. Finally stick the cutout on a cardboard stick and the cat puppet is ready.
Preparation to be done:
Procedure:
1. Give the children a dog cutout and brown paint.
2. Ask them to dip the cotton ball in brown paint and dab on the dog
cutout.
3. Leave it to dry.
4. Allow the children to stick the coloured dog cutout on the brown
paper bag with the head towards the closed end. The dog puppet
is ready.
Preparation to be done:
Procedure:
1. Provide the children with the cutout of the tomato.
2. Call 3 children at a time and give each of them a red crayon to
colour the tomato.
3. When they have finished colouring, stick the tomato cutout and
the leaf as shown in the picture.
4. Give them a cardboard stick to glue it to the tomato cutout.

Procedure:
1. Give the children all parts of the engine and help them paste it
according to the picture given.
2. Stick the engine on the white sheet.
3. Children can draw the sun and clouds and colour them using
crayons.
Preparation to be done:
Procedure:
1. Choose any colour that the child likes and ask him/her to
colour/paint the fish.
NOTE: If the white fish cutout curls while painting, allow it to dry and
straighten out.
2. Stick the 3 crepe paper as the tail behind the fish cutout.
3. Stick the circles and the stickers on the fish.
4. Stick the eyes cutout.
5. The fish is ready.
Procedure:
1. Provide the children with the cutouts of the horns and the ears of
the goat. (refer to the image below)
2. Fold the sides of the paper plate for the goat’s face.
3. Paint the goat’s face and the top of the ears with brown paint and
let them dry.
4. Paint the narrow part of the folded paper plate with black paint to
make the goat’s beard. Once the paper plate has dried, cut slits
along the lower edge to define the beard.
5. Glue the ears and the horns to the paper plate goat’s face.
6. Glue the nose onto the goat’s face. Finish the goat’s face by gluing
on two eyes cutouts and drawing a mouth with the black marker.
Procedure:
1. Keep the paints and the square cutout ready for the children.
2. Call 3 children and give them each a square cutout.
3. Let the children colour the square cutout with cotton using
different paints.
4. Help the children stick the small squares for the eyes and nose of
the puppet.
5. Attach a cardboard stick and the puppet is ready.
Preparation to be done:
Procedure:
1. Call 3 children at a time, allow them to colour their horse
bookmark by cotton dabbing.
2. After the children have finished colouring the horse bookmark
brown, allow it to dry.
3. Now ask them to glue the black wool on the horse’s mane.
4. Stick the eyes cutouts.
5. Your horse bookmark is ready.
Preparation to be done:
Procedure:
1. Keep the banana leaf ready.
2. Call one child at a time and ask them to dip their fist in the white
paint and print it on the banana leaf. Repeat for the second idli.
3. Idlis are ready!
Procedure:
1. Provide the children with the slited cutout
2. Ask the children to paint the cutout with a colour of their choice.
3. Encourage the children to roll the cutout into a cone and then
staple it.
4. Punch holes on each side of the cone and attach a ribbon.
5. Stick the pompoms on the cap.
6. The joker's cap is ready.
Procedure:
1. Assist the children to paint the body of the fish and the fins with
blue colour. Ask the children to colour the reverse side of the tail
fin of the whale.
2. Ask them to stick the lower edges of the cutout to form the body
of the fish.
3. Turn the tail fin outward.
4. Now assist the children to place roll of paper at the top of the fish
by making a small slit. Stick the eyes cutouts, make a mouth and

1. Keep the cutout of the kite ready for the children.
2. Call the children one by one and help them colour the tail and the
body of the kite.
3. Then ask the children to stick the tail to the kite cutout.
4. Stick the crepe strips to the tail of the kite.
5. Once the kite is ready, help the children stick the string on the
kite.
You can alternatively make 2 holes in the centre, at a distance from each other. Pass the
string from one hole to the other and tie a small knot.

Procedure:
1. Allow the children to colour the paper plate using ochre colour.
2. Stick the yellow part of the ears on the brown big ears.
3. Now, stick the ears on the plate.
4. Assist the children in sticking the orange and brown yarn pieces on
the plate.
5. Punch 2 holes on either side below the ears and Insert the satin

1. Call the children and let them glue the pink ears on the white ears.
2. Tie the satin ribbon into the holes punched on either side of the
band.
3. Let the children wear the band and go home.
Procedure:
1. Give the children the yellow triangle and stick. Ask them to glue
the straw at the center of the triangle cutout.
2. Give the red smaller triangle and ask them to stick it at the tip of
the yellow triangle.
3. Distribute the cork pieces and ask the children to poke the stick into the cork piece to
make the sailboat.

Procedure:
1. Ask the children to make two big egg shaped cotton balls from the
cotton.
2. Apply glue to the paper bowl and let them stick the brown strips
randomly overlapping to form a nest.
3. Glue plastic eggs at the center of the nest. The nest is ready.

1. Call children in groups of 3.
2. Give 15-20 pieces of orange crepe paper to each child.
3. Apply glue to the orange cutout and let the children paste the
crepe paper pieces on it.
NOTE: Fold the orange crepe on the reverse side of the cutout, as

2. Ask the children to stick the cardboard sticks on the cutout of the
pencil.
3. Further the children stick the pink rectangle at the end of the

1. Ask the children to colour the face and pillow cutouts with
crayons.
2. Call the children one by one and assist them to stick the red,
yellow, green and red squares all over the sheet. Assist them to stick the black strips on
the squares as shown.
3. Now ask the children to stick the pillow cutout and the face cutout on the white sheet.
4. Place the quilt in position and paste it.
Procedure:
1. Keep the ears of the rabbit ready.
2. Call the children in pairs and let them stick the inner pink ears on
the white ears.
3. Teacher will stick the ears and nose to the paper plate, make a
mouth, whiskers with marker.
NOTE: Press the ears hard while sticking and let them dry properly.
4. Tie the shoe strings into the holes punched on either side, for the
children to tie the mask around their face.
Preparation to be done:
Procedure:
1. Give a small paper plate to the children.
2. Let the children paint the paper plate yellow.
3. Teacher can draw a face on each paper plate using a marker.
4. Stick the triangles around the back of the sun face.
5. Decorate using stickers all over the sun to make it shine.
Procedure:
1. Give the yellow cutout to the children and ask them to draw on it
2. Now give the children the rectangle, triangle and circle cutouts.
Preparation to be done: Punch holes at the sides of the mask below the ears.
Procedure:
1. Call 3 children at a time.
2. Give them ochre and black crayon to colour the eye mask.
3. Insert the strings and tie a knot in the punched holes near the ears
and make the children wear the eye mask once it is ready.
NOTE: Do not staple it as it may hurt the children.
Procedure:
1. Overlap the sections on either side of the slit in the umbrella
canopy and tape/stick it together.
2. Stick the cutout of the handle to the straw and tape the straw
leaving a little bit sticking out at the top.
3. Apply glue to that end and place it at the centre of the umbrella so
that the handle stands upright.
4. Stick the pom pom on top as shown. Use glue to stick it.
5. Allow the children to stick the colourful stickers the umbrella with
stickers or crayons.
Procedure:
1. Distribute the cutout of the van body
2. Assist them to paste the windows and wheels of the van as
shown.
3. The van is ready to be taken home.
Procedure:
1. Teacher should write numbers on the circle to make it look like a
dial.
2. Help the child stick this dial on the band.
3. The child can wear this watch and go home.
Procedure:
1. Allow the children to crumple the crepe paper into small balls.
2. Stick the crepe balls on the leaf to look like a caterpillar.
3. Stick the eyes cutouts on the caterpillar on the first crumpled
paper.
4. The caterpillar is ready!
Preparation to be done:
Procedure:
1. Instruct the children to arrange the two purple cardboard sticks as
shown.
2. Ask them to arrange the rest of the cardboard sticks across the
two purple sticks as shown in the next picture.
3. Assist them in pasting the cardboard sticks.
4. Xylophone is ready.

Procedure:
1. Stick the circles on either side of the roll as shown in the picture.
2. Roll the woollen thread in the center of the roll as shown.
3. The yo-yo is ready!
Procedure:
1. Ask the children to do sponge dabbing on the hot air balloon.
2. Now ask the children to apply glue to the zigzag strips and stick
them on the dotted lines.
3. Punch holes at the top to attach the satin ribbon.
