are you a busy entrepreneur or employee who is usually on the go and doesn’t
have a lot of time, but still wants to get more healthy? Don’t worry, you’re not
alone. Most people want to get healthy, more fitter and look younger they can’t
seem to find the time for it.

Here are five tips for healthy living on the go:

1. Enjoy a pint of water first thing in the morning

If you haven’t got time for anything else in the morninf, make time to drink a
big glass of water, we lose a lot of oxygen through the night and to rejuvenate
our cells, we need to supply them with water and oxygen. Drink a glass of water
and within a week you’ll begin to feel less tired.

2. Grab a few fresh fruits on your way out

Whenver you’re going-whether it’s a walk or drive to the supermarket or on

your way to a meeting- pick up one or two fruits and eat them. Fruits are great
for their nutrients, vitamins and sugars that are required in our body.

3. Exercise on the go

if you work in an office, get up every 30 minutes and go for a walk. If you have
an office with stairs, run up and down the stairs every couple of hours. Get your
blood flowing and your musclws moving.

4. At a handful of nuts

Get your favourite selection of nuts (almonds, cashews, pecans, walnut, etc.) and
raisins and have a big handful of them at around 3pm. This has been shown to
increase afternoon energy and productivity.

5. Deep breathing

When you’ve got time- at your desk, driving the car, cooking food- do some
deep breathing. Inhale and count up to 5 seconds, hold it for a few seconds, and
release slowly. Exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide is one of the best things
we can do for our blood and cells.

Health is all about living a balanced life

english/
In order to be healthy, a person needs to do more than just one thing — being
healthy is all about living a balanced life. It is necessary to eat well, exercise often,
and maintain a healthy soul. Let’s take a look at each of those pillars for having a
good and healthy life.

Eating healthy food

One of the very first reality shows I’ve ever watched was called “You Are What You
Eat”. The nutritionist Gillian McKeith went to a person’s house in order to make them
eat better. The show usually starts with Dr. McKeith shows the person everything they
eat in the span of a week. She organizes everything on a table, which makes it look
terrible. Lots of junk food, soda, cookies, cakes, and everything else you know is bad
for you but you insist on eating. Then, she helps them to break the habit of eating
unhealthy foods. Some people do well, some others can’t keep it up for long — you
know what they say: old habits die hard.

Exercising regularly
Some people like to exercise at the gym. Others would rather go for a walk around
their neighborhood or run in the morning. The thing is: as long as you are moving your
body, it doesn’t matter what activity you choose to do. Check out some fitness idioms
below and learn more about vocabulary about health in English.

Taking care of your mind and soul

Besides eating well and exercising often, it is also important to take care of your mind
and soul. You can do that by practicing yoga, taking deep breaths, volunteering,
meditating, reading self-help books, maintaining a journal, or attending religious
services. All these activities can improve your mood, control your anxiety and
depression, and even cure some diseases.

Being healthy for young people is (1) important as they need lots of (2) energy
to study and play with their friends.

Before I joined the running (3) club at school, I hardly did any (4) exercise
apart from riding my (5) bike around where I live. Now I run three times a week, and
on (6) Saturday I take part in the Park Run.

It is not just the exercise I do that keeps me healthy, but the (7) food I eat. For
example, I eat lots of fresh (8) fruit and vegetables. As well as that, there's no more
(9) visits to my local fast-food restaurant which means I feel a lot fitter and
(10) slimmer
