CHAPTER ONE
BACKGROUND
1.1 Introduction
This report represent a Field Practical Training (FPT) took place at Nyanguge ward from 26 th
February to 22th March, 2024. The main purpose to conduct this training was to increase
knowledge, thinking capacities, capabilities and skills so as to link between theory and practical.
Also this field practical training helps various organizations where the students conduct their
field practical in their organization through their behavior in general hence easily to employ
them. Also student carrying out this study as a partial fulfillment of the requirement of award in
Nyanguge ward is ward which is presented at Magu district in Mwanza region. In the world.
This ward has majority of the same similarities because there are only and others language
which is national language like Swahili and Sukuma language. Also there are about 3678

Nyanguge ward is bordered by Lugeye ward in eastern part, Kisesa Ward in Western part

CHAPTER TWO
The ward has many health center and dispensary which is ngw'habui Heath center, muda
Dispensary, and Nyaguge Dispensary. All of this health center and dispensary is under the Local
Government ownership.

2.2.2 Education
In Nyanguge ward has five primary school namely, Nyanguge primary school, Nenge Primary
School, Ng’hwabui Primary School Matela primary school and Nyambilo Primary school. Also
in nyanguge ward has school who owned with private person which is called Nospa medium
school. Also, the ward has only one Secondary School called Nyanguge Secondary school. It is
a government secondary school which provides ordinary level. The ward has a Collage called

social and welfare, community development, computer applications, Industrial and domestic
elecricity .
2.2.3 Transport
Transport infrastructure at Nyanguge ward are well improved. The ward joined the main road
namely Mwanza to Dar es salaam road, Mwanza to Silali road. It is a tarmac road which
facilitates transports of goods and services across the ward and the city at large.
The availability of water in Nyanguge ward is large since there are so many water taps which
used to fetch water. Water services around this village are attainable throughout a year. The main

2.3 Economic activities
2.3.1 Agriculture
In Nyanguge ward are among of ward in Tanzania so this why Agriculture activities are taking
place higher percentage in this ward there are many food crops which are cultivated by the
majority and only one main cash crop which are cultivated by the majority in this area. In
Nyanguge ward Agricultural activities were conducted in both small scale and large scale in
which small scale characterized by growing food crops such as Maize, Ground nuts and Sweet
potatoes while large scale comprises cash crops such as Cotton and sisal in some area.
The Nyanguge ward has undertaken pastoralism activities combined with poultry as means of
survival in Nyanguge ward there is large number at pastoralist where some combine with
agricultural activities. Types of live stocks under this area includes Cows, pigs, Sheep ,Goats.

2.2.3. Trade (small business)
Some section of people that are not engaged in other activities mentioned above (namely,
agriculture, pastoralism) are involved in small business activities. These are such as Ward
Nyanguge ward consist four Streets which are Bugumangala, Nyanguge, Matela and Muda.
According to 2022 census, the ward has a population of 33,548 people. The female population is
greater than male population, where by female and male are 18,786 and 14,762 respectively.

another for the aim of completing my objective concerned about practical training.
Language is another problem which encountered to me during field training in Nyanguge ward.
This is because some people within the ward did not speak national language, so this was the
challenges to me because I don't know to speak with them by using local language (tribe).
3.4 Solutions
During the Field Practical Training one among of the activities undertaken was to conducting

CHAPTER FOUR
4.1 Conclusion
Practical was very essential for the betterment of the student especially in higher learning
institution, it enables students to utilize their valuable knowledge obtained in class theoretically
by having to practice it they become more competent as their knowledge become real and useful
With practical learning students get opportunity to learn more about the real world organization
behavior, organization culture, the administrative as well as coming across different employee
with different altitude, background and share with them the experience at work.
On top of that during this session student are at a position to see what is going on at work places
or offices such as how activities are done, actual demand for the job, how employee are
evaluated, discipline at work and other challenges available within the working environment.
Student becomes aware of how keen they should be and the necessary qualification required by

The following are the recommendations that should be done for extent to clear the negative
