Nouns are fundamental elements in language that serve to name people, places,
objects, ideas, feelings, concepts, and anything that can be perceived by the senses
or conceived by the mind. These words provide structure and meaning to sentences,
allowing effective communication between people. In addition to their main function of
designating entities, nouns can also be classified according to their gender, number,
degree of concreteness, among other grammatical characteristics, making them very
versatile in discourse construction.
