SOFTWARE REQUIREMENT SPECIFICATION

 The Software Requirement Specification will provide a detailed description of the


requirements for the Employee Management System(result viewing website).

 The clear understanding of the Employee Management System and its functionality will
allow for the correct software to be developed for the end user and will used for the
development of the future stages of the project.From this SRS,the Employee
Management can be designed , constructed and finally tested.

 The SRS defines the scope of the system , including user registration , result browsing ,
accessing the result and user review.

 It also specifies non-functional requirements such as performance , reliability , security


and usability ensuring that the Employee Management System meets the need of the
user , and is extremely user friendly environment for studying purpose.

SCOPE

The scope of this project will be limited to the following: Employee profiles:

 Employees will have access to their personal profiles and will be able to edit their
details. Electronic leave application:
 Complete elimination of paperwork in leave management by enabling an employee
apply for leave as well as check their leave status through the system. This will also 9
enable the HR manager to accept/reject leave application through the system Project
Management.
 Assign tasks and projects to employees, assign a project team and keep track of the
progress. Report generation.
 The HR manager will be able to generate timely reports in order to monitor employees
and this can be used for performance appraisals. The reports will be have all the
information of an employee from educational background, trainings attended, projects
done as well as technical skills. Recruitment Process.
 The admin will add an employee and a default password and employee id will be
generated and sent to the new employees email. The HR manager will then have the
ability to add an employee’s information to the database.

SIGNIFICANCE

EMS is a very useful and important concept that every organization should use. This
personnel management system will be very useful in the coming era when no one has
free time. This system can be extended to include various other services such as: B.
Measure the performance of each employee, determine if an employee is underpaid or
overpaid, and calculate the required or overpaid number of employees. However, all
these topics require further research and time. Not only does it benefit your organization,
but it also helps your employees monitor and improve their performance.

FUNCTIONALITY

This section gives the list of Functional and non functional requirements which are
applicable. Functional requirements are nothing but the services provided by the system
to it send users. There are three sub modules in this phase.

USABILITY
The user interface to make the process should be effective that is the system will
help the candidates to register easily. The system should be user friendly.

PERFORMANCE

1. Response Time-
The systems hall give response in 2 sec after user login.

2. Capacity-
The system can support multiple computer but it need to be install
one very computer separately.
