Job Role : WebSphere Application Server Administrator

Experience : 4+ years of relevant experience in WebSphere Application Server with good


communication skills.

Job Responsibilities :

Installing and profile creation, configuration of WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment
environment.

Configuring WebSphere Application Server for high availability, including setting up server clusters,
load balancing, and failover mechanisms to ensure uninterrupted application availability.

Routine administrative tasks such as starting and stopping servers, monitoring server health, and
managing server resources.

Able to troubleshoot and resolve basic issues such as startup failures, connectivity problems, or
application deployment errors.

Good troubleshooting experience in analysing server hung scenario, OutOfMemory errors, high CPU
utilization scenario and come up with detailed RCA along with the resolution.

Configuration of JDBC Provider, Data Sources, JMS Resources, Service Integration Bus for seamless
integration with database and message providers.

Able to create and manage user accounts, roles, and permissions within WebSphere Application
Server to control access and security.

Able to monitor server performance metrics, such as CPU usage, memory consumption, and
response times, and reporting any anomalies or performance issues

Review and analyse server logs to identify errors, warnings, or other issues that may affect the
server or application performance.

Configure security settings such as SSL certificates creation, certificate renewal, authentication
mechanisms, and authorization policies.

Detailed analysis of thread dump, heap dump and come up with the RCA along with resolution on a
quick turnaround time.

Good experience in profile backup and restoration.

Keeping up to date with the latest security patches, updates, and fixes released by IBM for
WebSphere Application Server

Integrating Web Servers with WebSphere Application Server and investigate issues related to
requests not routing, load balancing etc.

Review the Vulnerability assessment report shared the security team, prepare the action plan to
mitigate the vulnerability highlighted and implement the suggestion to ensure all those points are
addressed on time.

Job Responsibilities :

Installation and configuration of JBOSS EAP as a standalone server as well as managed domain

Experience in configuring, administering JDBC Connection pools, Data sources and troubleshooting
challenges related to free connections unavailable, connection pool leaks etc,

Configure messaging subsystem by configuring various messaging resources.

Good experience in configuring Web Subsystem through management console / CLI.

Good experience in configuring mod_cluster subsystem.

Able to troubleshoot and resolve basic issues such as startup failures, connectivity problems, or
application deployment errors.

Experience : 4+ years of relevant experience in IIS Server, Windows Administration with


good communication skills.

Job Responsibilities :

Installation and configuration of IIS Server and DOT NET Application Framework.

Perform IIS administration and its extensions, including but not limited to site setup, IP bindings, URL
redirects, app pool recycling, HTTP response headers, output caching, compression, request filtering,
handler mappings.

Provide support including analysis, debugging, maintenance and performance tuning for Web
Hosting environment.

Deploy new websites while improving existing client site setup and processes.

Configuring asp.net application with IIS like allowing web service extensions and application
mapping.

Support Website / software upgrades while improving overall software deployment/upgrade


process.

Perform various aspects of website setup and operations including SSL/TLS, TCP/IP, SFTP/FTP, DNS,
Active Directory.

Configuration and tuning of Application Pool and investigate problems related to application pools.

Good experience in backup and restoration of IIS configuration files.

Experience in setting up Web Garden, Web Farms.

mitigate the vulnerability highlighted and implement the suggestion to ensure all those points are
addressed on time.
