Objective:
The objective of this assignment is to assess your proficiency in AutoCAD drawing skills,
particularly in creating detailed house plans and effectively managing layers for various
components.
Task:
 House Plan Development:
 Develop a detailed house plan for a residential building of your choice. The
house plan should include the following:
 Floor plans for each level (e.g., ground floor, first floor).
 Room layouts, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, etc.
 Doors, windows, and other openings.
 Staircases, if applicable.
 Dimensions and annotations.
 Any other relevant architectural details.
Layer Management:
 Organize the drawing elements into layers based on their type and function. Create
separate layers for:
 Walls
 Doors and windows
 Furniture and fixtures
 Annotations and dimensions
 Other architectural elements (e.g., stairs, columns)
 Ensure consistency in layer naming and color assignments.
Guidelines:
 Use AutoCAD software to create the house plan and manage layers.
 Pay attention to scale, accuracy, and neatness in your drawings.
 Include appropriate annotations and dimensions to convey information effectively.
 Submit your completed drawing file (.dwg format)
