LET’S TALK FASHION
Hi, fashion lovers! Clothing companies are now offering
ways to personalise items and make them unique. I’m
curious to hear about your favourite options.
Amy65
I bought an incredible pair of personalised jeans online from Levi's
Future Finish. First, you choose the size, style (I like “Wedgie Fit
Ankle” because it's not as tight as “Skinny” Fit), and colour (classic
blue for me). Next, you choose a design that you fancy, and the
company prints it onto the jeans using laser technology. It’s hard to
choose a design when there are 27 different options! The Mickey
Mouse designs were really cool, but I eventually decided on the
leopard design. I also chose a bright pink label for my jeans instead
of a traditional brown leather one.
Jenny23
They sound amazing – but aren’t personalised jeans expensive?
Not sure I can afford them.
Amy65
They’re not cheap, but I feel it’s worth spending the money on
something special which I helped create. I’m proud of the result!
John220
Ralph Lauren is my favourite designer label, so personalised polo
shirts are a predictable choice for me! The cotton is so comfortable
and they look really smart. I recommend the Create Your Own option
in their online store. I bought two shirts, each in a different colour
with a different logo (a polo pony and a bear). I also added my name
and lucky number on the back of each shirt. No one else owns the
exact same shirt as me!
!
Glen88
I ordered a customised RL shirt online too, but the colour wasn’t what
I’d expected. I couldn’t exchange it because they’d made it especially
for me!
John220
That’s disappointing! Maybe you can get the colour that you want in
an RL shop instead. They’ve recently developed a way to colour
cotton so quickly that they can dye shirts the exact colour you want
in the shop while you wait. The service is called Colour on Demand.
Marco10
I’d love to do that! I wonder which shops offer that service.
