Mang Tinong’s Bike and Tricycle

Mang Tinong, a resident of Brgy. Mayapa,


Calamba City is a full-time worker from one of
the shops that can be located at the shopping
center of Calamba City. He is a very

ago. One day, he rode his tricycle totravel 12 km
from his residence to Calamba town. It took him
for about 30 minutes until he arrived at his
workstation. In the afternoon after work, he
went to the gasoline station to fill up his engine.
As he drove along the street way back to his
house, his tricycle started to break down and
cannot be used temporarily as of that moment.
The next morning, he decided to use his bicycle
to go to work. It took him for about 50 minutes
until he arrived in his destination but
unfortunately, he came late. He thought that
using his bike can’t make him arrive before
official worktime, but he then realized that it can
somehow save him money from spending
gasoline every day.
