RESEARCH
Research is defined as the creation of new
knowledge and/or the use of existing
knowledge in a new and creative way so as to
generate new concepts, methodologies and
understandings. This could include synthesis
and analysis of previous research to the extent
that it leads to new and creative outcomes.

Research Methodology
Research methodology is the specific
procedures or techniques used to identify,
select, process, and analyze information about
a topic. In a research paper, the methodology
section allows the reader to critically evaluate
a study’s overall validity and reliability. The
methodology section answers two main
questions: How was the data collected or
generated? How was it analyzed?
List of Types in Research Methodology
1. Quantitative Research
2. Quantitative Research
3. Descriptive Research
4. Analytical Research
5. Applied Research

Microsoft Excel
It is a spreadsheet developed by Microsoft for windows.
Its features are calculations, Graphing Tools, Pivot Table,
etc.

Excel has following features for Data Analysis:-

1.SORT – You can sort your excel data on one

column or multiple columns. You can sort in
ascending or descending order.
2. FILTER – Filter your excel data on one column
or multiple columns.
3. Conditional Formatting – In excel allows
you to highlight cell with a certain colors,
depending upon the value.
4. CHARTS – A simple excel chart can say
more than a sheet full of numbers.
5. Pivot Table – A pivot table allows you to
extract the significance from a large, detailed
data set.
6. Tables – Tables allows you to analysis your data
quickly and easily.
7. What if Analysis – In excel allows you to
try out different values for formula.
