Module Expectation:
• This module is carefully crafted to equip you with essential skills from a data analyst's & data
scientist’s perspective.
• You'll gain exposure to both fundamental and advanced SQL concepts using practical examples,
preparing you to tackle real-world data analysis tasks.
• You will be able to interact with databases efficiently, retrieving, manipulating, and analyzing

Assessments & PSP:
Dive deep into the world of SQL! This module covers everything from fundamental concepts to
advanced techniques across 15 comprehensive lectures.
Sharpen your skills with solving assessments:
○ 8 assignment questions per lecture
○ 4 homework questions per lecture (optional)
Aim for a high PSP score (85+):
§ Demonstrates your dedication and mastery of SQL, a valuable asset for your resume
and interviews.
§ Not just for academic success, it prepares you for real-world applications.
Remember:
□ Seek help: Reach out to instructors or TAs for guidance.
□ Track progress: Monitor PSP scores and adjust learning strategies accordingly.
Pre & Post read
Stay on top of your learning: encourage learners to access pre-lecture and post-
lecture content via their dashboard regularly.
In pre-read, before each session, learners receive:
® Agenda for the current lecture.
® Summary of the previous lecture.
In post-read, after each session, learners receive:
◊ Reference/Revision Notes for that day's lecture.
◊ At the end of the module in the last lecture you will also receive
consolidated revision notes and a cheat sheet.
Case studies:
Instructors should emphasise the importance of case studies for
placements in the first class.
Encourage learners to actively solve similar case studies.
Case study deadline: Once the case study is launched, it will appear
on your dashboard and you'll have 14 days from the launch date to
complete it.
In the SQL module, you will be working on:
} Target SQL case study
Learners can address concerns regarding case studies in the
Slack Lounge.
Module Test & Mock Interviews:
– At the module's end, there will be module tests and mock
interviews accessible through the dashboard.
– Module test & Module re-test are 90 minutes long, with all
learners eligible to take both tests, which include MCQs
and coding questions.
– Test launch dates will be provided at the module's end, and
it's crucial for all learners to participate, aiming to pass the
cutoff of 70 out of 100.
– After completing the module test, learners can book a Mock
Interview immediately to receive feedback from Industry
Experts.
– The next module will start in parallel with the ongoing
module tests.
Placement Eligibility:
To obtain the SQL certification and qualify for job
placements requires successful completion of both the SQL
module test and the mock interview.These components are
crucial for your eligibility in job placements, and missing
either one will hinder your eligibility for placements.
