    Please be informed that this week marks the celebration of Rule of Law Week, and today,
    September 19, 2023, is designated as Law Day in recognition of the importance of
    upholding the rule of law in our society.

    To commemorate this occasion, we have organized a series of activities that will allow us
    to engage in meaningful discussions and reflections on the rule of law and its impact on
    our criminal justice system.

    1. Panel Discussion: "The Rule of Law: Police Reform as a Better Path Forward for
    Criminal Justice"

    Date: September 19, 2023


    Time: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
    Venue: Online [via Zoom]

    Panelists:
    Atty. Cleo Marjo C. Cabanilla
    Atty. Lhem J. Naval, LLM
    Ret. Judge Meinrado Paredes

    This panel discussion promises to be an insightful exploration of the role of the rule of law
    in shaping police reform and enhancing our criminal justice system. We encourage all
    students to attend and actively participate in this important conversation.

    2. Law Week Culmination Activities on September 23, 2023:

    • Speech Choir
    • Bench Cheering Competition
    • Extemporaneous Speech

    In light of these significant events, we would like to inform you that classes will be
    canceled on both September 19, 2023 (Tuesday) and September 23, 2023 (Saturday) to
    allow everyone to fully participate in the Rule of Law Week activities. We believe that
