Tudor Arms: Background

Terrorists have stolen a biological bomb and taken hostages in a canyon town. The player must climb into the town, rescue the hostages, and disarm the bomb. They can choose to sneak in quietly or engage enemies aggressively. If detected, more terrorists will arrive and the bomb timer will speed up. After disarming the bomb via a number puzzle minigame, the player escapes as backup arrives to complete the mission.

Tudor Arms

A game where extreme sports meets shoot-em-up!

Background
The world has been under pressure of economical crisis for a very long time. The greed for money has taken out the worst in people and criminals all over the land seems to use more and more desperate measures to get what they want. That's why they created World Terrorist Fighters, W.T.F. Tudor Arms has been on a mission to recover a bomb and save some hostages in the Grand Canyon. At this level point Tudor reaches the canyon town. The year is 2011..

Plot for level 3


Terrorists have stolen a biological bomb from a military base. They have taken hostages and threaten to destroy the Natural Park Of Cayenne. Both entrances to the town is under heavy surveillance and our intelligence tells us that thees -Ivan Bostrm. FG-2010 [email protected]

men WILL use the bomb if they see any of us near their perimeter. W.T.F Sends their best agent Tudor Arms (player) to stabilise the situation after negotiations fails.

Mission objectives
Objective 1
You have to take the hard way in. from the bottom of the canyon and find a way up. This side of the canyon is famous for its climbing opportunities so find the climbers hut and acquire the climbing gear, then take yourself to the top of the canyon.

Objective 2
Get into the exhibition hall and disarm the Chemical-Bomb. (rescue hostages; optional)

Environment
The level takes act in a remote canyon landscape in north America 2010 There are rivers and high wildlife activity. Its heavy rain and the sun is covered by thick clouds.

Action
The games starts out passively but shortly after the player has to be alert. -Ivan Bostrm. FG-2010 [email protected]

Throughout the game player can choose to sneak (recommended) or to go full shoot em up.

What happens if the player goes for shoot em up is that a timer sets off and terrorists will arrive and the player has to fight more terrorists and the bombs timer. Player gets weapons from killed enemies so he will get upgraded from only having a knife and a silenced gun. Sneaky players will have more time to save hostages and to disarm the bomb.

Enemies
AK-47 terrorists standard enemy, shoots AK-47, low accuracy, medium damage, high rpm. medium armor. If alerted ; Terrorist will spawn close to players location and hunt him down.

Gauss Snipers advanced enemy, shoots Gauss rifle, high accuracy, high damage, low rpm, has laser sight. low armor.

Cougar, area enemy, attacks if approached, melee, high damage, fast attacks, no armor, medium health. fairly ease to kill but inflicts great damage if player gets hit.

MAP overview

1. start position. in a rubber boat. 2. Rock formation falls down. Player continues on foot. 3. Player finds the previous agent and fights a cougar. 4. Player finds the climbers hut and gets gear. 5. Player climbs to the top of the canyon. 6. Player mover over the canyon pillars under stealth and faces one guard. 7. Player chooses to go backside or front side. 8. (backside) Player faces one terrorist and 8 hostages. 9. (front side) Player faces 3 terrorists and sees the Boss. 10. Bomb, entering bomb defuse mini-game. 11. Ramp where boss escapes and one terrorist guards his escape.

Walkthrough

The player starts in an inflatable boat going down stream, He listens to some radio communications between two terrorists talking. Radio dialog (terrorists) Terrorist 1: -Hey black! I just got a hold of the RMP-Gauss rifle! Terrorist 2: -OMG wait for me Ill come asap! Terrorist 1: -you better hurry, cause this baby is going on a test drive! Terrorist 2: -OMW! Terrorist 1: -Damn youre slow! I have to shoot now before the boss is back.. Terrorist 2: -okay but shoot on the rock formation over that canyon so i can see. Terrorist 1: k , Watch this! Pew pew pew Terrorist 1: shoots on the rock formation that's in front of player so the stones crash -Ivan Bostrm. FG-2010 [email protected]

down into the river , sealing it off. A familiar voice yells on the radio familiar voice: -WHOOOO THE HELL WAS THAT!!! (text player interacts to voice) T 1: -uh.. sorry boss i.. i w...was .j...ust Boss: - SILENCE AND SWITCH CHANNEL ON THE RADIO! THEY MIGHT HAVE SENT THEIR SPECIAL AGENTS! AND KEEP AN EYE OUT AT THE CANYON MORON! RADIO: BZZ BZZZ .../OFF Then gets surprised by falling rocks in front of him.

Player doesn't get hit but he has to leave his boat and continue on foot.

Player then finds the other agent half eaten and besides him lies a dead cougar. Player finds med-pack/ammo. Player then gets attacked from behind by another cougar. After that cougar is dead it gives away a roam that alerts the guards. Guards: Talk scene: Terrorist 1: -Shut up stupid cats! This is the second time they fight now! Now terrorist .1s laser sight starts to travel around the valley and the player has to move.

Player then comes around the pillar and into the climbers hut where he acquires some climbing gear. Objective 1.

Player then starts to climb up the climbing path and onto the canyon back.

From here player can see the town for the first time and has to cross 2 pillars attached with rope-bridges

then you wait for the patrol on the ramp to turn his back before he continues or the player shoots the patrol but risk of getting detected. When player comes to the second pillar he hears a guard voice telling someone hes gonna take a pee on one of the pillars, player hides and awaits for the guard to finish and leave or to kill him silently.

Player gets to choose where he wants to go first.

Objective.2. Disarm the bomb. Player can choose either to go around and take the front door or the backdoor. Inside player meets 3 terrorists and 8 hostages and the Boss.

Front door: Player has to open the doors and immediately faces 2 terrorists and the Boss dude. Hostage-guarding terrorist takes one hostage as human shield. Player gets achievement from saving that hostage.

Back door: Player meets one terrorist and 8 hostages and have a greater chance for a surprise attack.

As soon as player is noticed the Boss escapes out on the ramp where he jumps off and wingglides away leaving the fight. After the bomb is disarmed player just wait for backup to arrive. Mission complete!

Bomb disarmament
by pressing use key to enter diffuse mini-game.

The diffuse mechanism is triggered and above screen is shown. Bomb is ticking. If bomb has been activated then player has less time to disarm the bomb. Player switches the numbers on the pad by pressing the arrows left and right. When player presses execute lamp on the left is shown green, yellow or red. Green means correct number Yellow means almost correct number Red means wrong number Each time the player presses execute he looses 20 seconds or a certain percent of the time on the bomb. Later in the game lower time/harder level.
