Abstract
In this case Study our primary objective is to test and check the network of iDataInc. as they
are going to establish a new organization in Shenzhen city. This is going to involve
reconfiguration of the network design, allocating IP addresses to the devices, and
implementing security by the use of Access Control Lists.
Scope
The sole purpose of this case study is to learn how to correctly create and build network
model, specify IP addresses, routers, switches, and servers, and use ACLs (Access Control
Lists) to create a secure connection. This will cover the newly opened Shenzhen branch as
well.
Objectives
We will be creating Subnets in the network and assigning IP addresses ,making the private IP
address ranges for security.
We will be developing network architecture for representing the layout of iDataInc's network,
This will also include the new branch just recently opened in Shenzhen.
exploration and select routers, switches, and waiters using a Weighted Scoring Model,
considering factors like cost, performance, scalability, and seller support.
We will be Applying security measures by applying Access Control Lists (ACLs) to routers
and firewalls, icing control over business grounded on defined security programs.

By using WDM (Weighted Decision Matrix) for various devices and following devices were
chosen with their prices are shown below
TOTAL 3293
It doesn’tsurpass the budget provided to us by the company which is $4,000.00 which shows
that the devices are cost effective and provide all the features required for the company.
