Figure 1 shows the paradigm of the study, which the study will use the Input-Process-Output model. The input shows the data that is needed in this study, which are the acquired perceived competency after taking nursing informatics, the level of self-perceived competency in nursing informatics, and the evaluation of clinical instructors regarding the respondents’ competencies in nursing informatics based on their academic performance. The process section is the analysis of data gathered which is the analysis of the perceived acquired competency after taking nursing informatics, self- perceived level of competency in nursing informatics, and the clinical instructor’s evaluation regarding the competencies of the respondents in nursing informatics based on their academic performance. The last section of the paradigm is the output, this section shows the result produced by the process which is the determining and understanding of the perceived level of competency in nursing informatics among BSN students of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University.
