The quantitative analysis of the test shows that the participant obtained a raw sore of 53. The

corresponding percentile was 90%. It shows that 89% people are below her and 10% people are above

her. Furthermore, the participant achieved the grade II, which indicates that she has above average

intellectual capabilities. Discrepancy analysis between obtained scores and expected scores on set A, B,

C, D, & E are 0, 0, 1, 0, and 1 respectively. The results show that the participant has above average

capacity for clear thinking and cognitive functioning. Her analogical reasoning also falls in above average

capacity.
Discussion:

As depicted through the analysis that the participant has scored 53 and falls in above average capacity of

intellectual capacity. This shows that she has good capacity for observation and clear thinking with

analogical reasoning. Moreover, she has good capacity to comprehend meaningless shapes, to make a

relation between them and following a pattern of reasoning. Her high scores are correlated with her

historical background.

Test Administration:

The test was administered in the testing lab of center for clinical psychology at the University of

the Punjab. The room was well illuminated. The participant was seated comfortably in front of the table.

The environment of the lab was little distracted as the other examiner and participant was also there for

Theory, although this test is not about intelligence but analogical reasoning directly relates with

intelligence. Her behavioral observation also proves her test results as she listen the instructions with full

attention.

Conclusion:

As the participant scored 53 and her corresponding percentile is 90%. It means that she is

performing above 89% of people and 10% of people are performing below. She has well developed

problem solving skills. She has good ability to extract information from one context and apply it to

another context. Analogical reasoning relates with cognitive functioning so the participant cognitive

abilities are above average.

Limitations and Suggestions:

• There are too many performance indicators.

• The performance information is too aggregated.

• There is not enough strategic information in the system.

• This test only measure reason by analogy that is not enough to find exact intelligence of a person.

The test only includes performance items. So, the WAIS test should be administered on the

participant to get better understanding of her intellectual including both verbal and performance

capacity.

• It causes too much internal competition.
