ESB COMPUTER LAB RULES & REGULATIONS

1. *Login and Logout*: Log in to the computer using your assigned username and password. Remember to
log out when you finish your work to secure your account and protect your files.

2. *Save your work*: Regularly save your work to the designated storage drives or your personal storage
devices to avoid losing your files.

3. *Use lab equipment responsibly*: Handle computer equipment, peripherals, and furniture with care.
Report any damage or issues to the lab assistant or instructor.

4. *No food and drinks*: Eating and drinking are not allowed in the lab to prevent damage to equipment
and maintain a clean environment.

5. *Respect others*: Work quietly and respectfully, avoiding distractions and disruptions to fellow
students.

6. *No unauthorized access*: Do not attempt to access or modify system settings, software, or files
without permission from the lab administrator or instructor.

7. *Follow lab rules and policies*: Adhere to the lab's rules, guidelines, and policies, including those related
to internet usage, software installation, and data security.

8. *Report issues*: Inform the lab assistant or instructor about any technical issues, errors, or concerns.

9. *No cell phone usage*: Refrain from using cell phones or other mobile devices during lab sessions,
unless permitted by the instructor.

10. *Clean up*: Before leaving the lab, ensure your workstation is tidy, and dispose of any trash or
recyclables.

11. *No unauthorized software installation*: Do not install software or applications without permission
from the lab administrator or instructor.

12. *Respect lab hours*: Only use the lab during designated hours or with permission from the lab
administrator or instructor.
