REMEMBER:

"Will" is commonly used when:

a) Making predictions or stating future facts: "I think it will rain tomorrow."
b) Making spontaneous decisions or offers: "I'll help you with your homework."
c) Expressing willingness or determination: "I will finish this project no matter what."
d) Talking about future actions without a specific time reference: "He will study for his
exams."

"Be going to" is commonly used when:

a) Discussing pre-planned intentions or plans: "She is going to visit her grandparents next
weekend."
b) Describing predictions based on present evidence or indications: "Look at those clouds!
It's going to rain."
c) Making predictions based on current circumstances: "The company is struggling
financially. They are going to lay off some employees."
d) Expressing goals or intentions: "I am going to learn how to play the guitar."

Reported Speech
