Planning for four Municipalities (Bhimeshwor, Birendranagar, Tulsipur and

31, 2022.

Genesis Consultancy has conducted multi-hazard risk assessment and mapping,

multisectoral vulnerability capacity assessment, and multi-hazard probabilistic
Risk assessment in four municipalities. In addition, Genesis Consultancy has
prepared municipal land use policies, risk-sensitive land use planning
regulations, and building bylaws for four municipalities.

Genesis Consultancy completed the service as described in the sub-contract

agreement, scope of work, and deliverables. All terms and conditions were duly
fulfilled as stated in the sub-contract.

A. Preparation of Rural Mu n icipalityrMu n icipality Level Present Land Use Database, Maps
and Reports
i) Prepare present Land use maps, GIS database and Reports for the selected Rural
Municipality/Municipality. in different hierarchical levels at 1 :10,000 scales
ii) Preparation of Land Use by data entry of sub-levels (Level 1 to 4) as Residential, Commercial,
lndustrial, Public Services as per specifications,
iii) Perform DGPS surveying to collect acceptable number of GCP required for the geometric rectification
of satellite image provided by TSLUMD.
iv) Perform necessary ortho-rectification of the given satellite image
v) Perform featrlre extraction from the acceptably rectified enhanced satellite images.
vi) Perform Visual lmage lnterpretation of Satellite lmage and Field Verification.
vii) Populate the given database with the extracted features.
viii) Maintain the database as per the specification supplied.
ix) Prepare present land use maps as per different specified hierarchical.levels 10 fundamental land use
classes for the selected Rural Municipality/Mu nicipality (Agricultural Land Use, Forest Land Use,
