Job description
A cloud developer specializes in designing, building, and maintaining applications that operate
on cloud platforms. Utilize cloud services and technologies to develop scalable and efficient
solutions, ensuring seamless integration with cloud infrastructure. This role involves expertise
in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, as well as proficiency in programming
languages and application architecture to optimize performance and reliability in cloud
environments. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for deploying and
managing applications in the cloud.

Skills required
• Critical thinking with the ability to learn and work on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine
Learning (ML), Data Science (DS) and Cloud technologies.
• Should be able to work on data-driven projects, develop predictive models and perform
exploratory data analysis aimed at solving business problems.
• Ensure data gathering, data exploration, transformation, data analysis, data mining and data
quality and making analytics ready dataset.
• Should be able to work with complex data platforms using advanced technologies (Python,
R, Alteryx, etc.). Should be able to understand and translate business needs into data
models.
• Awareness on AI/ML/DS/Cloud Technologies concepts, statistics and modeling techniques.
• Good data analysis skills to identify different trends, patterns and other data anomaly.
• Ability to write macros, advanced queries, models, functions and formulae.
• As a member of the project team, candidate will have to work on Industry domain projects in
AI and analytics.
• Ability to work with multiple internal and external client stakeholders.
• Create high quality project deliverables for the client and responsible for
creation/maintenance of project related documents.
• Should be able to bring new ideas and innovative solutions to our clients.
• Good time management and problem-solving skills skills, teamwork and collaboration.
• Should posses excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Candidates graduating in 2024 from B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech from branches of Artificial


Intelligence /Machine Learning /Data Science /Computer Science/ Information Technology

• Should have certification in any one of the cloud technologies –
Amazon:
o AWS Certified Developer - Associate
o AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
o AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
Microsoft:
o Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals,
o Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
Google:
o Google Cloud Certified: Cloud Engineer
o Google Cloud Certified: Cloud Developer
o Google Cloud Certified: Data Engineer
o Google Cloud Certified: Machine Learning Engineer
• Consistent academic record of a minimum of 60% in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG (all
subjects will be taken into consideration) calculated as below
Aggregate% = Sum of all subject’s marks scored / total no. of subjects (as of last
semester result declared)
• At the time of joining, all recruits need to have a minimum 60% aggregate (all subjects
will be taken into consideration) in the pursuing degree with no standing arrears.
• Students with standing arrears (in 1st to 6th Sem) are NOT eligible to apply.
• Appropriate CGPA to % conversion to be considered as per University norms.
• Flexibility to work from any Cognizant office location in a given shift timing and
technology is mandatory.
• Open only to Indian nationals / Overseas Citizenship of India (OCIs) / Person of Indian
Origin (PIOs) who are currently residing in India.
• Students who have applied for re-evaluation and are waiting for the results would be
considered with the initial results score declared during hiring process.
• Students will get the communications only to the registered mail ID in Superset. It must
be their personal mail ID and shall be considered as the primary email ID. This email ID
should not be changed at any point during hiring process or until Full Time Employment
(FTE) onboarding.

placement officers and students must scan and upload the below mentioned documents

• Resume (maximum of 2 pages) with a high-resolution passport size
photograph. Please note that the photograph should be clicked in a light
background and both the ears of the candidates must be visible.

• Industry accredited certificate to be uploaded mandatorily.

• All academic documents including the college ID card, and school/college


UG, PG mark sheets.

Mandatory documents for Onboarding

• If PAN card not available, kindly apply for the same as this is a mandatory
document for onboarding. If you do not have your last name updated in the
PAN card, kindly get it updated. Background verification will fail if last name is
not updated in the PAN card. Background verification will fail if the PAN card
name and the registered name is not matching.
