INTRODUCTION
Blue ternate is well-known for both its cultural importance and possible
health advantages. Blue butterfly pea tea has potential to combat cancer. It can
minimize bodily edema and infiltrate cancer cells to prevent them from growing. It
also helps reduce headaches, bodily discomfort, and swelling from cuts and
bruises. Additionally, there may be nutritional and health benefits from
phytochemicals and hormones.
When comparing to other commercialized tea, blue ternate tea's striking blue
color is widely recognized and can be highly striking. It has a unique flavor as
well, which is usually described as floral or earthy. Though Blue Ternate tea is
inherently caffeine-free, commercialized tea like Lipton tea especially black tea
contains caffeine. For those who are sensitive to caffeine or would prefer not to
consume it, this might be an important factor to take into consideration. Moreover,
the other tea is widely consumed worldwide and is frequently linked to more
mainstream tea consumption, while Blue Ternate tea may have particular cultural
or traditional importance in some locations where it is drunk.
Statement of the Problem
1. How does the aroma profile of Blue Ternate and basil compare to other
commercialized tea when brewed as medicinal teas?
2. What specific taste elements characterize the flavor of Blue Ternate tea
and basil, and how do they differ from those found in other commercialized tea?
3. How does the color of Blue Ternate and basil tea differ from those
commercialized tea, and how might these visual cues influence consumer
perception of quality?
4. What textural attributes distinguish Blue Ternate tea Basil tea, and how
do these characteristics impact the overall drinking experience?
5. How can you describe the lingering aftertaste and any unique sensations
experienced after consuming Blue Ternate and Basil teas, and how do they
contribute to their medicinal qualities?
Objective of the Study
1. To assess and compare the sensory attributes of Blue Ternate and Basil
tea blends through organoleptic evaluation.
Hypothesis
We aim to identify whether the unique properties of Blue Ternate and Basil
teas will translate to distinct and potentially more favorable sensory experiences
and perceived health benefits compared to traditional commercialized teas,
particularly among individuals seeking natural alternatives.

METHODOLOGY
Research Design
This study makes use of an experimental research design. The goal of the
experimental approach is to maximize the study's potential and yield the best
results. Ten healthy adults will take part in a crossover randomized controlled
study to evaluate the blue ternate and basil teas' sensory attributes. Respondents
will use descriptive analysis and hedonic scales to assess taste, smell, color, and
texture within a blinded environment in an attempt to prevent bias. Statistical
evaluations of the two teas' sensory properties shall be included in the data analysis
as an attempt to identify significant characteristics that could be accountable for
each of the teas' observed therapeutic properties. This provides valuable
information concerning how the teas might be utilized as therapeutic brews.
Research locale
Wear plastic gloves for handling the flowers. Using the mortar and pestle (or
grinder), gently crush the blue ternate flowers into a coarse powder. Alternatively,
you can break the flowers into smaller pieces by hand.
Incorporate Citrus
Squeeze the juice from the lemon wedge into the bowl containing the blue
ternate mixture.
Divide the blue ternate flower mixture evenly amongst the empty tea bags.
Be mindful not to overfill the tea bags, allowing space for proper infusion during
steeping.
If using a heat sealer (follow the manufacturer's instructions), seal the open
ends of the tea bags to prevent spillage. Alternatively, use a stapler to close the
bags securely.
This step is optional and depends on your preference for loose leaf tea or
pre-measured tea bags. If you prefer a shelf-stable product, preheat your food
dehydrator following the manufacturer's instructions. Arrange the tea bags on
dehydrator trays lined with aluminum foil (if using). Dehydrate the tea bags at a
low temperature (around 35°C or 95°F) for 1-2 hours, or until completely dry and
crisp.
Storage
Store the prepared tea bags in an airtight container in a cool, dark place. This
helps preserve the flavor and aroma of the blue ternate flowers.

Statistical Treatment
The statistical evaluation of this study hired inferential data. To take a look
at the speculation, the researchers used a One-Way ANOVA (evaluation of
variance, The one-manner ANOVA tenis parametric take a look at. It compares the
manner of or extra unbiased groups (Treatment 1, Treatment 2, and Treatment 3)
to look if there's statistical proof that the associsted populace manner vary
significantly.
