Objective is a specific result that a person, a system aims to achieve within a
time frame and with available resources. In general, objectives are more
specific and easier to measure than goals. Objectives are basic tools that
underline all planning and strategic activities. They serve as a basic
forecasting policy and evaluating performance.

The main objectives of the project are as follows:

Q1. What is Presentation software? Write different features and uses of


Presentation software.

Ans: Presentation Software is a category of software which is used to create


content where information is often represented in a graphical or visual way.
The different features and uses of Presentation Software are:

 It helps in creating and organizing slides.


 It provides formatting and design options in a presentation.
 It provides a platform for multimedia integration.
 There are plenty of options of animations and transitions.
 It enhances collaboration and sharing capabilities.

Q2. What is slide? How slides are useful in making presentation.

Ans: A slide is a single page of a presentation projected on a screen, usually


built on the premise of a title, body, and figures or tables.

Slides are useful in making a presentation as it serves as a content guide for


presenters and highlights the key message, provides structure, and illustrates
important details.

Q3. What is slide master, animation, transition in Microsoft PowerPoint.

Ans : A slide master is the top slide in a hierarchy of slides that stores
information about the theme and slide layouts of a presentation, including
the background, color, fonts, effects, placeholder sizes, and positioning.

An animation is a special effect that applies to a single or individual


element on a slide such as text, a shape, an image, and so on.

A transition is the special effect that occurs when you exit one slide and
move on to the next during a presentation.
Q4. Write the steps to add animation to a slide.

Ans: The steps to add animation to a slide are:

1. Select the object or text on the slide that you want to animate.

2. On the Animations tab of the ribbon, open the gallery of animations, and
select the one you want.

3 On the Animations tab, open the Effect Options list to select from among
the available options.

Q5. Write different short cut keys used in Microsoft PowerPoint.

Ans: The different shortcut keys used in Microsoft PowerPoint are as


follows:

Start the slide show. F5

End the slide show. Esc

Print a presentation. Ctrl+P

Save the presentation. Ctrl+S

Open the File tab menu Alt+F

Go to the Animations tab Alt+A

We learnt various things during our practical class of computer related to
presentation software. We, students used Power Point Software for our
convenience. This is the report of all the things we came to learn in our
classes.

Firstly, we learnt to apply transitions and animations in slides and individual


components of slides respectively.

Conclusion

Microsoft PowerPoint is a presentation-based software used to

perform all the task related to presentation which include images,

sounds, slides, animation, transition, effects, design etc. It is a

wonderful tool for the users to learn the concept of presentation.
