Sub: Harassment on religious ground and threat to life and property

I, Tamkeen Qureshi, owner and resident of 31-B, First Floor, DDA Flats, Taimoor Nagar, New Delhi-
65. Submitting as hereunder, that:

1. I am an 79 years old women and a heart patient. Living in this property for the last 40 years.

2. Mr Jyoti Singh is the owner and resident of 31-A, ground floor, DDA Flats, Taimoor Nagar,
New Delhi-65.

3. Since the time he has moved in 4 years ago he has been consistently harassing me by
putting across unjust demands which I have accommodated. He has even used abusive
language and inappropriate gestures for me.

4. He has malicious intentions towards my property. Directly and indirectly, he has proposed to
buy my property

5. Upon refusal to sell - he started playing Hindu Muslim card all the time and tries to create
communal atmosphere and disturb peace in our society. Last year in April 2022 he sent us a
legal notice falsely accusing us of throwing cow meat in his house and that we had threatened
his life.

6. On numerous occasion he threatened me that my house is illegal and he would get it


demolished by DDA. Often he brough this illegal issue and asked for favors.

7. He had threatened us that he would not let us stay in this colony and that we should move to
a Muslim locality or else go to Pakistan.

8. He had also threatened us that he is a lawyer in Supreme Court with big political and police
connections and that he will implicate us in false cases. Fearing for our lives we had to
temporarily relocate our residence last year March to May 2022.
9. Recently this year 2023 he has encroached upon our personal space by blocking access to
our store/garage area by keeping pots of plants in the access passage. Hence, I am unable
to access my store/garage. (Images are attached)

It is therefore prayed that in the above facts and circumstances plot no 31 should be surveyed to
decided what is legal and illegal on the premises. The appropriate directions may kindly be issued to
the concerned authorities for the survey and against Jyoti Singh for causing wrongful retrain,by
blocking the passage to my garage.
