Assembling a solar wifi may seem like a complex task, but with the right tools and a clear

set of
instructions, it can be easier than you think. We will provide a step-by-step guide on how to assemble a
solar wifi in a very detailed manner.

Step 1: Gather all the necessary materials and tools

Before starting the assembly process, it is essential to gather all the materials and tools we will need.
This includes the solar panel, Wi-Fi, battery, battery management system(BMS), battery equalizer, WiFi
antenna, pole and mounting hardware, wires, and any necessary connectors. Additionally, we will need
a set of basic tools such as a soldering iron, screwdriver, pliers, wire cutter, welding machine, welding
rod, multi tester and a wrench.

Step 2: Choose the location for the pole

The first step in the installation process is to choose the ideal location for the pole. This location should
have a clear line of sight to the area where the WiFi signal needs to be transmitted and received. It
should also be away from any obstructions such as trees or buildings that could interfere with the signal.

Step 3: Install the pole

Once the location has been chosen, the next step is to install the pole. This may involve digging a hole
and setting the pole in concrete. The pole should be securely anchored to ensure that it can support the
weight of the solar panel, battery, WiFi and WiFi antenna and withstand outdoor elements.

Step 4: Mount the antenna to the pole

With the pole securely in place, the next step is to mount the WiFi antenna to the top of the pole. This
may involve attaching mounting brackets to the pole and securing the antenna in place using bolts and
screws. It is important to ensure that the antenna is positioned correctly and securely to maximize its
performance.

Step 5: Install the coaxial cable

Once the antenna is mounted, the next step is to install the coaxial cable. This cable will connect the
antenna to the WiFi router or access point. The cable should be run down the length of the pole and
secured in place using cable clips or ties. Care should be taken to ensure that the cable is
weatherproofed to protect it from the elements.

Step 6: Assemble the solar panel and bracket

Start by assembling the solar panel and the mounting bracket. Attach the bracket to the back of the
solar panel using the provided screws and fasten them tightly to ensure a secure connection. Once the
bracket is attached, we can then mount the solar panel to the pole using the mounting hardware.
Step 7: Prepare the solar controller

The solar controller is a critical component because it regulates the charging and discharging of the
battery. Before we installing the solar controller, we ensure that it is compatible with the battery and
the solar panel. We are familiarize with the product manual and the wiring diagram provided by the
manufacturer.

Step 8: Connect the solar panel to the solar controller

To begin the installation process, we connect the solar panel to the solar controller. Start by identifying
the positive and negative terminals on both the solar panel and the solar controller. We use the
appropriate cables to make the connections, ensuring that the positive and negative terminals are
correctly aligned. Secure the connections using wire connectors or crimping tools.

Step 9: Connect the battery to the solar controller

Once the solar panel is connected to the solar controller, we proceed to connect the battery. Similar to
the previous step, identify the positive and negative terminals on the battery and the solar controller.
We use the appropriate cables to make the connections, ensuring that they are securely fastened. It is
essential to pay attention to the polarity to avoid damaging the components.

Step 10: Test the connections

After completing the connections, it is crucial to test the system to ensure that the solar controller is
functioning correctly. We use a multitester to measure the voltage output from the solar panel and the
battery. Verify that the solar controller is effectively regulating the charge from the solar panel to the
battery.

Step 11: Secure the components

Once the connections have been tested and verified, we ensure that all the components are securely
mounted. We use appropriate mounting brackets or hardware to secure the solar controller, the
battery, and the solar panel in place. Additionally, we ensure that all the cables are neatly organized and
secured to prevent any potential damage or hazards.
Step 12: Install the WiFi module or adapter

It is time to install the WiFi module or adapter. This may involve opening the enclosure and carefully
inserting the module into a compatible port, or attaching the adapter using the provided connectors. We
ensure that the module or adapter is securely in place and that all necessary connections are made.
With the WiFi module or adapter installed, power on the solar controller. This may involve connecting
the controller to the solar panels and ensuring that it is receiving power from the solar energy system.
Once the controller is powered on, it will begin to search for available WiFi networks.

Step 13: Connect the antenna to the WiFi router

With the coaxial cable in place, the final step is to connect the WiFi antenna to the router or access
point. This may involve running the cable into the building and connecting it to the appropriate port on
the router. Once the antenna is connected, it can be powered on and configured to start transmitting
and receiving the WiFi signal.

Step 14: Maintenance and troubleshooting

Finally, it is important to establish a maintenance plan for the wifi solar to ensure it continues to
function optimally. This may include regular cleaning of the solar panel, checking the battery and wiring
connections, and replacing any components that may become damaged over time. Additionally, it is
important to familiarize yourself with common troubleshooting steps in case any issues arise with the
solar connection in the future
